Default Grocery Getter of the Month - need ideas

UPDATE!

For those submitting, please get them to me as soon as you can so I KNOW I have x amount of entries and do not need to modify this contest to fit a more broad range of vehicles. You can ALWAYS resubmit before AUG 31 if you want to update the info.

I want FOUR pictures - interior (front seats, backseats maybe), exterior, engine and CARGO area. You don't need to have a babyseat, or groceries but it would be highly suggested for getting votes if you can prove you use it for the intended use of getting groceries and putting around town.

Also send in a complete modification list.

If you think your car is a grocery getter, submit it. I'll be the judge and if I can't decide, I'll ask some outsiders. I am trying to keep it completely unbiased.

I'm thinking wagons, hatchbacks, large sedans, and suv's that are mostly stock.

Wagons, hatchbacks, 4 seats, pass through trunk all come to mind. Something you wouldn't think to take to the race track.

Now that I think about it, I might have to submit my own grocery getter.. gets me where I'm going quick too

From my recent move:

Hatchback or wagon. A vehicle that is practical before anything else.

Haha

I think the interior picture must have groceries, baby seats with babies in them and/or hauling stuff only a grocery getter can.

SUV/Wagons/Sedans of all sizes can enter.

I will ultimately be the judge if I classify it as a grocery getter.

PS... there will be multiple G8s in it so one better win

Next question. What's wrong with "modified" cars? I think a month of all stock cars has the potential to be boring.

Can't forget vans. Only mini vans though. Full size vans, while awesome, are not grocery getters.

CTS-V Wagon
E63 Estate
S600
Newer S550
Porsche Cayenne GTS or Turbo(depending on your price range).

I'm hopefully going to be looking at a 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo next year. A lot of car for the money right now. Going to be an even better bargain in the next year or so.

Some of us don't have kids yet but I suppose you can borrow a baby seat

Does a grocery getter have to be stock? I don't think anything is wrong with it being modified. The more the better

Grocery getters can be modified - after all, curb feelers are not put on at the factory.

Also when I think grocery getter, high-end luxury car doesn't usually come to mind. I'm nkt just saying that because I don't have one but I feel like that belongs in a category of its own as the ultimate mom van. An S600 or Cayenne just doesn't scream groceries.

You don't need a baby seat, just throwing out ideas of practicality and using that when taking pictures.

As for modified vs stock, id say as long as it has great street manners and any normal person could drive it without having to be a car person would be acceptable.

If there is a question about whether a car qualifies or not, post an example here or send me pm before you try to submit it
