Engine Block - Iron Romeo Block .020 overbore
Pistons - Diamond Flat Tops(9.3 compression) with 2v heads
Rods - Manley H-beam
Crank - 1998 Forged Cobra Crank
Extra - ARP2000 head studs, new clevite bearings, total seal moly rings, balanced

The engine is located at MC Racing and is in the tear down process as we speak. Engine block has 1000 miles on it from previous build. The only new part is Pistons and they are brand new. This engine is ready to rock and roll.

Will consider parting out.

Price: $2000 pick up only

I'm just curious because i'll be looking for one soon, but how many miles average do these built forged motors with boost normally last for?

Depends on a lot of factors (tuning, boost, fuel, detonation, etc)

This one could easy see 100k+ miles.

There is nothing rowdy in the short block. It's a mild forged application that'll be more than enough for most people. The Manley Rods are the same design as what the 2003/4 Cobra uses and the crank is straight from a 1998 Cobra. The piston is Diamond and is of very high quality.

The engine is being torn down right now so you can head over to MC Racing new location in a few weeks to take a gander at it. To recreate this motor, you are looking at $3000-3500 due to labor and machining. Jerry Simpson at MC Racing is an expert engine builder and will take you step for step through the engine.

FWIW, I'm running the same setup in mine except no cobra crank-- Has been a tank for the last 4 years. It has survived several tuning mishaps, and even one 20psi 7000rpm trip.

Yes, you can bolt up your existing timing cover, heads, intake, headers etc. Still waiting on the CC of the piston.
