Kentucky's players vs Kansas' players = Kentucky
Calipari vs Self = Self Winner = Self and the Jayhawks. This Jayhawk team has more heart than any other team I've ever witnessed. |

The "charge" outside the 3 point line on either Elijah or Tyshawn (I can't remember because I'm fucking smashed) was fucking bullshit. He was going to fall regardless. I was pissed.

What's bullshit was the no call on Craft when he stripped T-Rob on the breakaway and got all arm first. Then the travel on Withey when it should have been an "and 1". OSU fans have zero room to complain.

apparently you travel when you catch the ball in the air, then land. and apparently you can draw a charge with no feet on the ground. wtf.
guess it just shows who the better team really is. held osu to 24.8% in the second half while we shot 53.8. ![]()

The only blown call was the misappropriated foul in the first that they corrected. Other than that it was a constant stream of chippy little bullshit calls that went both ways. Had we lost we couldnt have blamed the refs, we could have blamed 17 turnovers (of which probably 12 were unforced).

Yeah even my girlfriend called that one. The elbow to the back on the rebound was chippy but Tyshawn should have been shooting two.

Tyshawn should never be allowed to shoot threes and only drive and shoot, or drive and pass

I'm not one to blame wins and loses on officiating because it really comes down to your play and focus. However, officiating in this year's tournament has been generally mediocre. I think OSU's Craft has a ton of heart and ability, but that guy got away with a lot crap last night. I don't know what it is about the scrappy white guys that always seems to get calls to go his way. Thank God they got his throw call right. Finally, Jeff Withey for President.

What an awesome amazing run this team has had this year.
I said before the tourney that i would be happy with a sweet sixteen. After the sweet sixteen i was ecstatic about making it to the elite 8. Now ill be upset with anything less than another calapari collapse. We have what it takes to win, heart. Like said before, UK has better players. So did several teams this year. We have the best coach in the country and he will figure out how to beat UK. How intimidating is it for Kentucky knowing that if they get up by 10 and we make a little run. They are gonna freak and get tense, hoping they aren't another victim of a KU comeback. ROCK CHALK!!! |

Too many charges for sure. I cannot stand how some of the officiating is over dramatic like the hoping on one foot shit. Let the kids play and once the refs stop calling dumb ass charge fouls, that is the time the players will realize its not worth a flop

I lost it when EJ was changing directions and dribbling behind the back, Craft flops and gets the charge. 22 feet from the hoop. How can he be dribbling behind his back and moving right and charge someone. At what point does it become a foul. Does the ball handler not have any rights anymore?

Fuck Kentucky. They rioted after they won. Flipped cars and fires everywhere. God, I hope we beat them. Everything about that program and their fans are so scummy.
http://content.usatoday.com/communit...1#.T3h_JuxrODk By Mike Wynn and Joseph Lord, The (Louisville) Courier-Journal Postgame revelry in Lexington turned to destruction and fire-setting Saturday night as University of Kentucky fans swarmed the streets surrounding campus, prompting police in riot gear to move in. College antics in alcohol-fueled celebrations of UK's Final Four victory quickly escalated, as young people set couches and two cars ablaze and hurled beer cans into clusters of party-goers. Firefighters responded to about 50 nuisance fires, mostly couches set afire on purpose, according to Battalion Chief Ed Davis of the Lexington Fire Department. Ten people were injured, he said. CAPTIONBy Amy Wallot, AP Two car fires were set on State Street. A spokeswoman for the city said several people had been arrested, though the number remained unclear. There had not been any mass arrests, she said. Alcohol was everywhere and bottles smashed throughout the area. Police in riot gear patrolled party areas and sprayed fire extinguishers on fans who attempted to damage vehicles. Police attempted to clear the street, moving in twice by 10:20 p.m., but it wasn't until about 11 p.m. that the crowd began to disperse significantly. Before then, revelers climbed atop cars, flipped three vehicles on State Street to the cheers of others and attempted to flip others while fans chanted "Cats, Cats, Cats." UK and Lexington police — expecting a rowdy night — had increased patrols on campus and prepared to close streets in party areas. A triage center was opened at a fire station on Woodland Avenue. Authorities had issued a warning to fans that fires and vandalism would result in arrests, but parties and drinking started early. "They try to flip a car. Police push them off and they try to flip another one," said Logan Johnson, a UK freshman. "It's pretty crazy. We are going to the championship. I don't blame people." UK junior Michael Soto said he had never seen anything like it. "Bourbon Street doesn't have anything on State Street," he said. Joey Frederick, who joined the revelry in Lexington, said Saturday's win warranted a party on campus. "We are the best team in America," he said. "I think houses should burn." In stark contrast, about 100 University of Louisville students gathered peacefully on Cardinal Boulevard after the game, cheering as though their team had won. "They had to fight for it," said Tombo Owen, 18, a freshman who waved a U of L flag within the mass of fans. The crowd was mostly jubilant, though at one point a UK bag was briefly lit ablaze. Cardinal Boulevard was blocked to traffic at about 4 p.m. between Third and Fourth streets, as university police had announced they would do earlier in the week. But with no incidents of trouble reported anywhere on campus, the road was reopened to traffic at about 9 p.m., after the post-game revelry began to subside, said John Drees, a university spokesman. Fans gathering in front of the Cardinal Towne development chanted Cards slogans, as well as a few anti-Cats slogans. A group of women on a nearby balcony shouted at passing motorists. "I've never been more proud to be a U of L student," said Charles Leonard, a 20-year-old sophomore. "They played their hearts out. You can't ask for more." Demetrius Ellery, 36, watched the game at the Cluckers restaurant in Cardinal Towne, along with many other fans. Ellery said he thought the Cardinals didn't play well enough to win — and he wished Kentucky the best in the national championship game. "Why shouldn't we be happy for the other team?" he said. Fans of UK and U of L celebrated on Broadway near 26th Street in a low-key gathering of people hanging out on the sidewalks and cars cruising the street. Police were stationed in the area, but no traffic had to be diverted and the celebration remained peaceful.
