That's a good call. I have kept it on thus far with the grandkids running around. I don't always carry that one. My dresser top can be had with the right pulling out of drawers. Kids are getting crafty!

I bought it used. And it's also a blem. I think I paid 100 ish for it and 40 for the scales (used too) I don't really get safe queens anymore and just get them used. Also bought a sebenza and a SnG users to carry too.

This is what I've been carrying every day for 5+ years (Gerber 22-47161). Mine has serrations that are now almost flat from so much use. I haven't found a knife I've liked more. It's easy to carry, tucks in clean, and doesn't stick out the top. Also like that the clip is on the bottom of the knife so it won't open in my pocket.

I love having options. Today I grabbed the Manix 2 again. It's just so light yet the blade is huge and Tactically capable. I love it, plus last night I stropped 5 strokes on each side and it will shave ya! Love the steel!

It feels so solid and strong, yet very very light. The detent is stupid solid. It is so damned sharp this steel (CTS BD1)is amazing. I sliced a bunch of boxes for trash day and it was like butter. None of my other knives are even close to sharpness that staysthis well. I just stropped afterward and took phone book like a champion. It's bigger than I expected, but so light, great for EDC tactical.

Thanks for the little write up. I've been so attached to Gerber that I haven't wanted to get rid of it.

As you can see, mine has had some good use.

I think I may look in to getting one of these. Do you know off hand if they come with a partial serrated blade?
