Built motor, built tranny, suspension, brakes, whipple. Low boost it's 700-ish. Higher boost this spring it should be 950+.

SBE LQ4, TSP CNC & milled heads, TSP 224r baby cam, Squishy tune. She runs pretty good. In need of a procharger though

Certainly nothing fast anymore... But I'm really enjoying the build process on this old thing.

1978 C10 Scottsdale
350/350 factory A/C truck
Pretty much 1 owner, bought from my dealership (W-K Chevy) When it was in cole camp, Mo in 1978.

It was restored in the 1990's, with all new GM sheet metal, a great paintjob, and absolutely no rust, driven till around 2001, then the motor popped and it was sold to a friend who had it in his barn until June of 2016 when I got it.

It had no motor when I got it, so I threw a 325 SBC in it, new brakes, new lines, new interior, sound deadening, new suspension with a 5/7 drop and a small notch. It has a small cam, holley carb, long tubes, stall and a shift kit now. I upgraded the steering with a close ration borgeson box and universal steering shaft, GIANT sway bars front and rear... it has NO lean.. lol pretty cool to drive. i put all new glass in it and ditched the rear slider window, all the paint ever needed was a good wash, did very little buffing and it cleaned up wonderfully, and I drive it nearly every day!

Still much more to do on it... need a locker, finish the interior with a dark brown seat since I did all saddle tan with the rest of the guts, redo the exhaust to tuck things up a little since it is so low. I got a trans crossmember that has hoops for the exhaust so I can tuck everything up a little better even with longtubes.

Anyhow, glad to be back!

Absolutely love this truck. Square bodies have gone nuts the past couple years, the 73-87 GM truck harness was our best selling vehicle specific harness last year.

My wife also has a 1930 Chevy that her father has been restoring for her for the past few years. It was his car when he was a kid back in the 50's. It sat for nearly 50 years and he gave it to my wife.

He has done some really amazing stuff to this car. It has mechanical brakes that he has retrofitted to power brakes with an electronic booster, all hidden under the car. He has added power steering off of a late model Equinox that is all hidden under the dash. It's neat having something 91 years old that we can still drive around town and not worry about keeping up or parking with the late model stuff.

TL;DR not fast, but kinda cool.

This hasn't to be the lowest mile/cleanest SRT-4 around, right?

It's crazy how we go from seeing cars on every corner to never seeing them, I can't remember the last time I saw a SRT-4 out in the wild.

Yeah pretty much for the area. There are a handful out there with stupid low miles. Here is probably the cleanest stock one in the world. Less then 700 miles on it

I know my Fiesta would get its ass rolled by most stock 1/2 tons trucks, but Scoots is way more fun.

Wow, just happened to actually accidentally bring up the link. I thought this place was gone for good.

I still have the bikes, Im looking to buy a couple more but right now the prices are high and the market is slim since its "socially distant" entertainment.

The only real change is the MV basically became the living room bike. Parts are getting so hard to find and when something unique breaks (like currently the chain guide) it takes a couple of months to get a replacement:
