![]() So I'm having a problem with my 2000 Honda Accord with h22a swap and M2S4 trans. The problem that I am having is that my tachometer is kinda going crazy. When just sitting at idle from time to time it will bounce up and down about 300-500 rpm from idle. Now at WOT it will seem okay but anytime it gets about say 4500 or so it just kinda bounces all around, jumping from 5000 to 6000 back to 4000 then to 7000 etc. Now there is no sound differentiation when it's doing this (meaning it doesn't seem to actually be going up and down up the rev ban while on the gas/ cutting out). It goes into gear fine (no grinds and isn't hard) and doesn't feel like the clutch is slipping, I also bled the slave just to make sure there wasn't any air in the line and there wasn't. The car does have a new distributer, new Ecu, and was just tuned. Does anyone know if maybe the tach goes off the dizzy rotor (as I thought I read on some threads) or go off something else? Or have you ever experienced this problem yourself, and can give me a general idea of a fix? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
