![]() Im changing my 98 civic to obd1 and id like to just repin the plugs rather than using one of those p&p harnesses. Theyre bulky and i don't think adding resistance to the ecus inputs/outputs would be ideal. Im not sure if the pins are the same size and shape between the two plug styles though. Anybody know for sure if they are or not? I don't know if id want to go as far as soldering and heat shrinking in such a tight area, nor do i want to risk pulling the battery tray out to pull the harness trough. Those bolts are rusty as hell and might strip or snap off if i do it again.

![]() way more work than its worth to repin everything. ecu connectors are different as are the pins. and its way complicated. and when you mess up, its harder yet to diag.
just buy an adapter.
