96 civic EX with Y7
I have a Y7 in an 1996 EX. Was this an option?

No. The D16Y8 probably blew up and the Y7 is easier to find...and cheaper.

Title says EX but starting to wonder if it is a misprint. No markings on car stating EX. No markings anywhere... Guess I can look at the VIN

Sunroof, power windows, power locks, cruise? If yes it's an ex. If no, then, is not an ex.
