Polarized make a difference, other than that there isn't much of a difference.

Yeah I'm just cheap lol. My GF works for a eye doctor and she gets a good discount. She wants to buy me a nice pair for my BDAY so I figure i'll let her. IDK what she plans to get though

Rocked these for the last year or so. Ballistic lenses, good protection for riding.

Just bought some Ray Bans made in China. They're real, but they feel cheaper.

Needing to get a new pair since my half jackets got destroyed by the river. I've been looking at these two so far:

http://www.sunglasshut.com/us/44457

http://www.sunglasshut.com/us/50779

My only big request is that I want polarized and I'm not wanting to spend a huge amount on them since I find a good $150 pair will be just as good as a $300+ pair (other than glass lenses).

Two are better than one $300+ pair of fashion sunglasses. I say you get the two above.

I'm looking to get just one! I think I'll go with the RB because of the subtle frame still. I'm going to go try on both pairs soon to make my judgement.

I have always taken sunglasses for granted, but now I have a new respect for them.

I'm stationed in Korea and one of the details I had to do today was escort the Korean contractors out on the flightline so they could cut the grass / weedeat. So it's about mid afternoon and the sun finally starts peaking out from behind the clouds. I throw on the ol' Oakley Gascans, which I have had for like 2 years now. Well one of the Koreans kicks up a rock with the weedeater and it hits me right in the left lense of my sunglasses. Now, this was no pebble. It was large and with enough force to knock my glasses right off my face. After almost shitting a brick, I lean down and pick up my glasses expecting the worst. Not even a scratch on them! With out my sunglasses on I would have had a really shitty day. Bravo! Oakley for making a fantastic product.

Went to browse some Oakleys today at Sharks... was looking at the eye patch 2's for prices. I have found them for $85 in matte black online... was looking and they had two pair of matte glasses one for $100 and one for $180... was thinking one polarized and one not. Looked and they were both polarized...both Shaun White edition (doesn't mean shit to me). Needless to say I snagged up the pair for $100 and left without blinking an eye and they are fucking great. Put them on next to my previous oak's that are not polarized and remembered why polarized lenses are so nice! Felt a little guilty I realized they had made a mistake... but I still capitalized on it... hope karma doesn't smack me

Does anyone know of a site to get just Oakley frames?

I have a set of clear RX lenses for my Oakley Splinters, and would like just a frame to keep on my motorcycle for night riding.

Just picked up a pair of Oakley Crankcase over lunch. Kind of a mix between their sporty ones and their fashion glasses. The top of them does not sit as far forward as their gascan and fuel cells. They definitely have a different fit if anyone is having trouble finding some that fit well.

I've been rocking the same pair of Oakley Fives for over three years now. How I haven't lost them, gotten stolen or scratched to hell is beyond me. I've been wanting a new pair, but I just keep telling myself "Not until these are unbearable or missing".

I'm going to have to strongly consider those when the time comes, I'm digging them. I think I'm definitely going to go polarized next time too. Never owned a pair of polarized frames.. But yeah I got my Oakley Fives NIB from Sunglasses Hut for $55 so at the time I didn't care.

Has anyone tried the Oakley Twenty? Looking for a full frame set of glasses.

Anything too big just looks extremely awkward on my face. Thinking of ordering myself a pair.

I have a pair of oakley wire framed glasses with polarized lenses that I would sell if anyone is interested, I will get a picture. They are probably the best driving glasses I have ever had, but they are just a hair small for my face. I believe they are the E Wires, in sort of a bronze/gold color.

Edit - I was probably going to throw them on Ebay tonight.

Ordered matte black Oakley Twenty with Polarized lenses, and a pair of Oakley Assault gloves a couple of days ago. When they arrive I'll post some pics.
