Depends, you want beach or Italy?

The mountains are also amazing that time of year but, well, if youre looking for a beach. Although I thought Lake Garda was fucking amazing, its a lake in the mountains but has more than a few little topless beaches to work with and clear as hell water. You could do a few days in Milan, scoot up for a "beach" weekend, then scoot back and have more fun in Milan. Milan is the NYC of Italy, TONS of shit going on.

Debating on Scotland for our August trip and a resort in the Caribbean for June.

Has anyone been to the Dominican Republic, Barbados, Grand Cayman, Anguilla, or Aruba?

I've been to Grand Cayman several times. Even got married there once.

Scotland or Ireland is where my wife wants to go, I need to plan something for our Anniversay in August, just not sure where, I heard with Southwest now offering flights to Hawaii it is more reasonable as well.

It's very crowded and commercial. Being that it's one of the nicest islands in the area it's also one of the more pricey. 7 mile beach is gorgeous. The scuba diving is bar none due to all the ship wrecks and resulting reef.

I have been there in January (was in the high 80s), and March, was in the 90s.

Ambergis caye Belize, San Pedro has excellent nightlife, not all touristy like Cayman islands, very laid back, beautiful beaches that arent crowded, some of the best diving I have ever experienced. Also, you can take a day trip to the mainland to explore the jungle or Mayan ruins.
Some people do a few days at an ecolodge resort in the jungle on the mainland then take a 10min puddle jumper plane ride to Ambergis caye for the rest of their trip.

Thanks.

Yeah, my sister has been and my sister in law went for her honeymoon and they stayed on 7 mile beach. I was browsing around online and it looked pretty commercialized and appeared as though it would be crowded... damn.

Turks and Caicos was the best water I have ever seen and wasn't crowded in August, but I heard it is being built up now as well.

so we went to Punta Cana for our June trip and it was pretty good, no issues at our resort in Cap Cana.

Now I need to book our European trip. Still leaning towards Scotland, Spain, Germany, Denmark, something similar. I don't think we have enough time to go to Italy and truly enjoy all the cities and places.
