When I got pulled over I got asked to step to the back of the car and got questioned about if I had guns or "dope" in my car in a way that seemed more like an assumption. I let him search the car were he found nothing. Anyway tonight on my way home I got followed all around town by the same 2 cops and got pulled over for the tint again. I told them I was in the process of getting them fixed. My passenger side metered at 3% and drivers at 28%. I got a ticket.
FWIW, prosecutors in Johnson County have a very difficult time getting the "tint measuring devices" into evidence when challenged. None of them (nor many of the cops) have been trained to show the scientific reliability of the device. It just needs to be challenged correctly to be kept out of evidence.

Remember, Missouri allows any tint level behind the driver, so if you have Missouri tags, they should NOT be able to make a stop based on tint behind the driver. Any charges should be subject to suppression.

What do u mean missouri allows any tint level? The law reads anything under 35% is illegal and a non moving violation, correct?

mo law is: driver and passenger windows must be 35%+ or - 3%. any windows behind the driver can be as dark as you want. as far is the tint meters being challenged thats bs.. they come with calibration pieces of glass. as long as the cop takes the meter kit to court and shows the judge that his meter is in fact working properly then you will still be found guilty.

So today I got a ticket because the brow on my windshield was "too low". He was said that it was below the "AS1" line but he couldn't see where the line was at because it had supposedly had been removed. And on top of this I was late to work because of this bullshit. I'm in ks, and if someone could tell me exactly were the "AS1" line on an integra it would be appreciated.
