I made it back out to KS Rocks yesterday. I didn't bring any cameras, but I did bring home a lot of mud.

I wouldn't mind a wrangler but I'm veryyy specific. I like the tj, full doors, hard top, 4.0l, and probably painted white.

Or any 4dr jk... I really like those

Wranglers are awesome, but I wouldn't DD one. They don't do things like carry a bunch of people, stay warm in the winter, haul stuff, etc.

I will stick with my cheap ass Cherokees and Grands

I'm about to put tires, TREs, and drag link on mine this weekend. I found a gnarly awesome deal on some Hankook Dynapro ATm 265/75r16s. I love black friday. They were a size bigger than I wanted (I wanted 265/70r16s) but these where wayyy cheaper, and I couldn't say no. Time to start cutting bits off the jeep to make them fit!

Welcome to the club. Looks very similar to my last jeep. XJs are awesome. They'll leak from everywhere, are really prone to rust, but the drive train will run forever. I wish I had gotten an XJ instead of my WJ sometimes.... but then I get in it in my WJ on cold mornings, turn on the heated seats and nice stereo

I love my four door JK and the extra space. I test drove a 99 wrangler last year for a few days and couldn't wait to give it back. No way I could daily that.

I'm planning on going if I can get my Toyota back together.

Badass TJ man!!! I wouldn't do anything for a windshield. leave it the way it is. is the a-pillar of the cage back far enough to allow you to bolt the factory windshield frame back on?? even if you have to trim the frame itself, I would go that route if you can.

For those interested, a large group will be meeting at the McD's in Louisburg Saturday at 7:30AM and then caravanning down to ks rocks for the Wheelin for Toys event. I believe entry is only $7/vehicle with a toy donation.

Thank you sir, it is a work in progress. I took the entire factory windshield frame off and used the hinges as the start of the A-C pillar. I think what I am going to do is get a piece of lexan and weld tabs to mount it too. the rig doesn't get driven on the street much anymore so I'm not to worried about it now.

The Jeep has been running like a pig lately. I noticed it was fouling on cylinders 1 and 6. Checked plugs and they were steam cleaned. I pulled the head and cylinders 1 and 6 were steam cleaned. I took the head in and it was cracked in two places. Hopefully I can get it going before the new year.

We're planning on heading down to KS Rocks again this weekend to take advantage of the warm weather we'll be having. Anyone else planning on making a trip?

Nice looking rigs. I've got a busy weekend, but it's going to be a good one to go wheeling.
