Anyone going to the HPDE on September 26th-27th at the speedway? Looks like a ton of fun. I just signed up today.

I signed up for the full day Sat. Will be my first track day. Hope my brakes are up to the task. Should have done a fluid change and got street/track pads but oh well.

supercoupe's got big sway bars and electric suspension and bigger wheels and breaks.
we are running my new 17's and tires on his. he also has all new suspension on his also.
so does mine and I have bracing and a lot of urethane parts on mine. I should have mine finally finished by spring

Yesterday was awesome. Not sure what happened but they ended up shutting the event down and may have not let anyone run today. We were about 10mins into our 4th run and they flagged us off the track. Some people didn't even get to do their last session.

Started the day with a 68mph average, 102 top speed, 2:04 lap. Last/best lap of the day was 83mph average, 129 top, 1:42 lap.

It was amazing. I will be doing the MAM event in October for sure. Going to order better pads and fluid and see how much a difference it makes. My brakes did fine, but I'm not anywhere near full bore/race speed and braking level.

I didn't have a monitor in my car as I was only doing HPDE 1. I got up to 120 MPH without my secondaries working correctly.

Whole lot of fun and I will be more next year.

I just downloaded the Harry's lap timer on my phone for $9.

You have the white zr1? Don't think a saw you on the track, but we had to be around each other in the class room stuff. Had I thought about it I would have tried to say hi. I was in 1, group A. White 15 mustang on black 20"s.

I know I saw a white c4 around the paddock area.

Yeah, just installed it over the holiday weekend 3weeks back. Have put about 1000 miles on it. Ended up melting an air line for the rear driver bag by the mufflers. Managed to fix it before my next session but I still want to insulate/secure/reroute the lines better.

I didn't get a chance to see your SC up close but I did see it through the paddock fence during the show. I was too busy fixing broken parts to really get to see what was going on.
