I had a negative item show up on my report several months ago that was not accurate. I Initiated an Experian online dispute and sure enough the item is now removed from Experian.
TransUnion and Equifax still show this negative mark. When I snail mail them (since it's the only available method... lame) Do I only need to say "This Creditor removed it from the Experian... so please remove from Trans/Equi". It should be that simple since it's been removed from Experian but I've never mailed a dispute to either of those Bureaus. BTW I'm talking about a 40 point difference from Experian to the other 2. I really want to get this straightened out.
