Thanks guys! I contemplated cutting part of the dead coils but I'm still not fond of cutting springs. I'll live with it for now.

Well my junk is slow and all of that but it didn't ever have and adverse affect when I cut my old stock stuff.

snm95ls got to it before I did. With the low rates that come stock for most cars, one or maybe even two coils wouldn't make a huge difference in rate, but once you get into 500+ lbs, it will start to be noticeable.

But, all that's off topic. This is a sweet MR2 regardless of what springs it has.
