Which pieces do you have? I downsized, so now I only have one piece left. My Tag Heuer Monaco.

Haha, Natalie is going to take it over again. I've had it for 6 years and it still hasn't been serviced. It's keeping perfect time, too. It's just a little worn.

Nothing real special

Breitling Superocean Heritage (the burnt orange) I got the leather band it came with and bought the "Breitling for Bentley" bracelet which is the only one that gets used.
Lum-Tec B9
Lum-Tec M30
Movado ??? They all look the same to me and I don't care to dig up the box and paperwork for the model number. Just the standard chrome/yellow gold metal watch.
Citizen Aqualand Dive watch
And a handful of fashion watches like Tommy Bahama, Brooks Brothers, etc.

Not a great collection, but a few nice pieces. I finally quit buying them because in reallity, I only wear 2-3 of them regularly.

How do you like the Tag? I have came real close a couple of times on two differen Tags, but couldn't do it.

Tags are great. I love Lum-Tec, not a big fan of Breitling really. Really like Hamilton too.

Awesome. Any pics of the Breitling? I love that watch.

I don't care too much for Tags, but I really love my Monaco. I have a handful of G-Shocks, which I beat around. I got my girlfriend a purple G-Shock and a pink G-Shock that she wears often.

I previously had a Panerai 112 and a Rolex GMTIIC with a brushed center links. I plan on picking up a few pieces next year.

I will see if I can figure out how to post a pic or two of it.

I absolutely love the Panerai watches. Lum tec has a new line out that looks surprisingly similar to them IMO. A Panerai and a Rolex and I will be done. I would like a Sub, but to be honest, I wouldn't mind even a date-just since I have the Breitling for a bigger watch. G-Shocks are a great watch too.

Me too, but you can't daily them. They're too big and get in the way if you work with your hands. I could wear my Rolex daily and completely forget it's on my wrist. The Panerai, however, is large and in charge. I plan on picking up another Rolex(either the Hulk or the Bluesey) and a Panerai 292 next year.

I am thinking about eventually picking up a used date-just for just that reason. I want to be able to forget about it being there. I bought the Breitling because it was big, heavy, looked great, etc. I wore it daily for quite awhile, it got a fair share of abuse, but wasn't the most comfortable thing because of its size.

I love the DateJust II. However, depending on your wrist size, anything smaller than a 38mm looks weird. I prefer 40mm and greater. Anything bigger than the 47mm Panerai Radiomir is too big. Especially their 60mm piece they have out. It's MASSIVE!

I was actually went back and forth for over an hour between the stores selling the Breitling and the Datejust. I finally picked the Breitling bc I would have just been buying the rolex for the name...it looked pretty small on me. After having a big watch for awhile, I think the DJ would have been nice for daily use.

Not a big fan of Rolex in general. I am really digging in to the new Lum-Tec's. Think I am going to go with the Bronze.

I have not had any experience with them. What drew you to that brand/watch in particular?

I have a lower end Zodiac that I bought a few years ago at a dept store. I really like it and really did not look into another Zodiac as a watch purchase until recently. I have a small amt of $ that I'm "allowed" to spend and if I do get another watch, I would like it to be something unique. I am really interested in autos too so that's how I got to the Oceanaire.

Depends on the price but I have never heard of them either. There are some great lower end autos out there. Furious post some info on it and I will take a look.

Got to thinking about it some more. What is the price point you are at? What sort of features does it have? I googled it but there are so many different versions its hard to figure out w/o knowing the exact model. Where are you picking it up?

Sorry for all the questions.

I found that one. Seems like a decent piece for the money.

However, I'd rather spend a little more and get an Omega.

Edit: Actually, it would be a lot more.

I think at that price point I'd move over to Prometheus. Their watches are pretty cool at near that price point. I'm guessing about 650ish new on that Zodiac. For a couple hundred more could get into a nice lum-tec or even a lower end HAM. Tough call.

The price of the one I'm looking at is $379. It seems as if they made them a long time ago in early 2000 and then stop making them for a while, and now they just started remaking them again. They have a controversial Swiss/Chinese movement that a lot of people get all riled up about. That makes it unique, along with the fact that the one I'm looking at is one of the first GEN yellow diverse club editions. All the reviews from owners are nothing but extremely positive. They seem to be well-made and comfortable. The only issue I have is the bulged area around the crown and possibly the color. I've never had a yellow face (actually any color face besides black and white) but I think I'll end up liking it.

Sorry, posting from phone so I'm a little behind. Wes, the one I'm looking at is just like your WUS linked one. Obviously I'm out of the Omega price point. And within the next year and a half I'm definitely going to get a brand new Hamilton X of some sort.

In general (and this is not directed at Furious Goat), I wouldn't buy an automatic watch just for the novelty of it being automatic - make sure there is more about a watch that you like than just the movement. If you don't wear it everyday and/or invest in a watch winder, they become a PITA to have to set all the time. Some can be damaged if you don't set them per the instruction manual too. Most quality newer watches, tend to be pretty heavy, so a cheap winder usually will not last long.

Definitely a different watch that you don't see everyday. Interesting packaging too.
