IMO, that's kind of a shitty curve. Even though that car is making a ton of power, it only gradually gets to full boost. I'd look at a smaller exhaust housing to bring it online a little sooner. 18lbs of boost at 6500 is one thing...18 lbs of boost at 4000 would make that car a completely different animal. Unless he's spinning it to 9k, then he might be ok.

Kick ass #'s by the way

That was a silly mistake by the previous installer.
They had the inlet and discharge filters swapped on the pump.
So the pump was starving itself trying to pull though the restrictive outlet filter.

It happens all the time, you should see the number of cars that come in like that.
No worries, a quick swap of the filters, and it was back in business.

Remember its a Glide car... its NEVER gonna fall out of boost, when clicked into "High"
So it will have that 18psi when it pulls itself down. Whats cool about that curve is that the car can actually "leave" the line, and work its way down the track. Kinda why Centri, blower cars are so quick.

I am sure its fast enough.

If you say so, a big intention with bringing the boost on slowly with this car is to keep it going straight the entire track. The car went like 8.0 @ 185 leaving off the foot brake with a 1.72 60' on a shake down pass at a test n tune day with a little bit more boost on the small turbo. We have a 106 for it, too.

Sounds like a mustang with Flowmasters, and a small cam.

By the time you heard the turbos, it would be to late.
