Default Miami Heat

So i dont follow NBA that much, except to check on LeBron to see how he's doing, cause if i had to pick a player, he'd be the one id pick to follow...

Anyways, they had a slow start and people were flipping the fuck out calling it a bust to put those three together etc. Now they are on a 6 game win streak and people are starting to crown them champs...

WTF!!!!

I seriously hate sporting media and the flip flopping fans. Gets so fucking annoying. Did they all really think that 3 star players with little support were gonna go out and go undefeated? Didnt boston have a pretty slow start the first season KG was there?

They are 1 game out of first in their division and are starting to mesh well it seems. But jesus christ people flip so fast on shit like this.

You can thank ESPN and their hours of TV time to fill.

Not at all. They only lost three games before January and finished with a 66-16 record.

EDIT: and by the way people will always flip shit about things like this. They were projected to be a dream team of sorts and came out shaky. Doesn't help that their coach sucks and they have NO depth at all in their roster.

They are on a 6 game streak against BAD teams (except Atlanta). Atleast thats what ESPN said. I dont care enough about the NBA to check.

If you actually watched some of the games, you would see there is a huge difference from the first few games, to how they're playing now. They are clearly starting to mesh.

Oh, and they're doing it now after they lost Haslem (who was really their only bench big man), and without Mike Miller (who is about 2 weeks away from returning). Once they get Miller back, LeBron and Wade are going to have some more driving lanes since Miller can stretch a defense with his shooting.

They are winning because Mario Chalmers is playing significant minutes. He is the GOAT.

I also don't like watching NBA games, but will watch the Heat.

I've liked Lebron since he came into the league. They are playing alot better and it was expected that they struggle early in the year with 3 players used to being the go to guy adjusting to one another.

i don't follow the media much, but were they really expected to instantly mesh and go undefeated?

playing a few games in the olympics is not the same as the nba. the nba today is a lot tougher than the back to the basket 90's.

A few games? LeBron, Wade, and Bosh have all been apart of the US National team since like 2004 (Wade and Bosh might have joined in 05/06, not 100% sure). Regardless, the team played more than just in the Olympics, they all played in pretty much all the Fiba games besides this last summer.

Their meshing because their bench and role players are starting to get more involved. James Jones and Chalmers have been huge for them lately.

because to me, he is a freak of nature. He's a 6'9 guard that even plays defense (sometimes, lol). He came straight from HS with no college ball and INSTANTLY dominated the NBA. I lost some respect with "The Decision" but straight up bball player, I think he's crazy good.

James is a scrub.

The end.

i'm sure you're well aware that international play is quite a bit different than the nba. spacing is different, roles are different, pace, stress, ego, etc. a few games under a simulated nba style of play is about it. don't forget who else they were playing with too--you just can't discount veteran leadership(look what kobe did for melo in that short time).

the bench has been there early too, just different guys--haslem/house. fact is, the big 3 were confused and did not have a person to guide them through it(like a doc rivers or phil jackson). bosh said he was "lost", james said he "has to be who he is" and could not let someone else take the lead and wade was banged up early. it seems like they have finally found the groove now.
