I had a few years like that where we would get a small refund from the state. Typically we would owe 1.5 to 2 times what the state refund was, back to federal.

We have owed to both the past couple of years. This year shouldn't be as bad (optimistically hoping with my fingers crossed), but we will see when we get them back from the accountant.

Just curious, how many people that do your own have been audited?

If the programs are giving wildly different answers, one of them is wrong.

I lived in Texas, moved to MO, but work in Kansas. Taxslayer could not handle this situation as it was showing a 0 balance due to Missouri. I knew this was wrong and just filed that one by hand, owe 488

Thats it?

I hate when i have to reload the printer more than once when printing out returns. Longest return I have ever done was just over 1,200 pages.

Jesus. A Return that long would make me want to put one in the chamber and pull the trigger.
