Default turbo civic running rich

Ok well it just started happening yesterday. I have a 00 honda civic si. Jdm b18c block b16 head. Motor is built for boost. Turbo is working fine but my aem wideband keeps reading rich. At idle 1200 rpm it'll be between 10.0 to 11.3 on the gauge normally it was at 12.2+. When in boost it'll constantly stay 11.2 to 11.7 like its suppose to with the tune. When driving normal and normal accelaration it'll be between 10.5 and 12.5. I don't remember it ever being near the 10's when dd it. I already replaced the spark plugs. No cel codes. Unless it has a bad o2 sensor and since its tuned a cel won't come on for that.

That's all I can think of. Its running fine but my wideband is what's bugging me. Thanks

*edit. Just got a email from chuong and he said it should hurt the engine. Unless it stays at 10.0, but ill be taking it in to see if its just a simple fix.

Well, there can be several factors to it, But if your concerned, Take it to a shop. 10-12 is fine and wont kill your car, But if it starts going haywire, Then you should be worried.

Your piston rings are probably damn near trashed from all the washdown if your UEGO is actually giving you correct readings.

Were the old spark plugs covered in soot?

I wonder if I enabled the o2 sensor. If it's bad then it could be dumping in a lot of fuel for closed loop operation which explains why it's rich when you are not on it and the AFRs are where they should be when you are WOT.

We'll hook up to the S300 and see what your fuel trims are doing as per our email See you Wednesday!

Thanks for the help Chuong the car seems to be running fine after you adjusted the fuel. I will definately be going back if any other issues come up.
