Default Mirror Question (and new bike content)

I just picked up a 2011 CB1000R, and the bike was from Missouri, so I need to get it inspected in Kansas prior to registering it. My questions is, does the bike need rear view mirrors to pass inspection? They were removed from the bike, and I don't want to take the time to drive it to the inspection place just to have it fail due to not having mirrors. Any thoughts on this?

Of course, I have to include a few pics.....

I have a bunch of mirrors laying around, if you need to borrow some for inspection.

I don't think that they look at that for inspection though, honestly.

I think I would like to have some just for the safety of it. If you have any black mirrors that screw in, I'd be interested!

According to DMV in Kansas you will need both mirrors to get a clear VIN inspection.

I have 4 (two right and two left) stock mirrors off a '13+ street triple. You are welcome to have a set if you want. I live by Shawnee Mission West... if you're interested, PM me for my number and come grab them for free. I don't need multiple stock mirrors that I will never use again

Sorry I didn't reply sooner; I have been out of town and out of cell service.

Did those work out for you? Were you able to get it inspected, tagged, and registered?

Sorry I am just now responding. The mirrors worked great, and I passed the inspection with no issues. Thanks again!

Cool! How do they look on the bike? They're pretty angular, so I'm thinking they might actually work well.

Let me know if you ever wanna go on a ride, man. It was nice meeting you

They actually look pretty good, and fit the angles of the bike well! I think the stock mirrors must sit a little more forward though, because the mirrors sit pretty close making it hard to get a decent angle to make them useable. Oh well, I am still happy to have them....thanks again!

Those mirrors were almost unusable on my bike... They really aren't very functional.

I really like my CRG Lane Splitter bar end mirrors. They aren't cheap, but they look great, the build quality is top notch, and they are very functional.
