Source: Jamaal Charles to make season debut vs. Steelers

Kansas City Chiefs star running back Jamaal Charles, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered less than a year ago, will make his season debut Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Charles officially was listed as questionable on Friday after missing Kansas City's first three games this season. He was a limited participant in each of the Chiefs' three practices this week.
Charles suffered the injury on Oct. 11 against the Chicago Bears. He returned to practice more than a month ago but has yet to regain the full-time feature back role he had before the injury.
Spencer Ware has started Kansas City's first three games, rushing for 202 yards and one touchdown.
Running back Charcandrick West, who also has seen significant playing during Charles' absence, has been ruled out for Sunday's game with an ankle injury.

[sarcasm] Well we could probably go 8-8 if we just win all the HOME games [/sarcasm]

This SUCKS. I waited ALL day to see this. Ugh.

Fuck Chiefs are getting worked,
It's not like the defenders are in great position and the throws are better, 5the chiefs corners are being smoked and their pass rush is on exsistent

Looks like another year of Chiefs mediocrity. Pretty much par for the course for the last 20 years.

After last night it didn't seem like they even practiced last week. Nothing was working for them.

As a Chiefs and Steelers fan that was interesting. I like seeing the Steelers bounce back from that Eagles loss, but the Chiefs? I swear they suck every time they get a prime time game.

As a fan of the Chiefs the start of this season has just left me winded. It seems year after year we had in what are supposed to be amazing pieces to our team. Then year after year we are left bewildered at a team that struggles to even win half of their games.

In the past 10 years, the Chiefs have had:

4 winning seasons.
Finished 1st in the division 1 time
Finished last in the division 4 times
Made it to the playoffs 3 times
Won 1 playoff game
Had 4 different Head Coaches
Haven't made it to a Super Bowl in 47 years.

Andy Reid has 2 things he needs to do immediately.

Give up play calling and let someone else do it (or split it between an OC and Alex Smith).
Fire Bob Sutton and get a real defensive coordinator. (he has never been good, the players at times have been in the right spot to make him appear better than he is).

I was saying that to my buddy yesterday. Andy Reid needs to stop play calling.

But you know that won't happen.

I feel like every single offensive play called was a screen pass.

it was pathetic...or even if it was not a screen play as soon as Alex Cassel, would snap the ball his head would already be into his check downs

Alex looks afraid. He isn't running at all compared to the last few years. He made plays and continued drives when needed by running and adding another dimension to the offense.

I say Cut albert wilson immediately, sign cromartie (just cut by colts) and see if he has anything left.

Trade Berry for Odell Beckham Jr, even though dude is acting like a bitch... a change of scenery might be nice and Chiefs won't retain Berry after this year.

16 rushing yards so far this year. Over 500 last year.

Teams are making him beat them with his arm and he can't. At all. So many people want to blame the offensive issues on the line or the coach etc. we rattled off plenty of wins with virtually the same line and coach. Just Alex was extending drives with his legs. 4 games in and he hasn't done that at all yet. We are lucky we aren't 0-4.

Alex is afraid. He is a 'safe' quarterback. He does look more like Cassel and is just falling down now. I would like that trade but they won't. And he likes the big plays. Which Alex doesn't throw. He won't want to come here. Honestly it is still early, but i fear it's back down hill.

the line has actually shuffled a bit.

2015: Fisher, Grubbs, Morse, Fanaika (reid, Fulton), Stephenson

2016: Fisher, Ehinger, Morse, LDT, Schwartz (not to mention reid, fulton, devey, and I think one other O-line player has already started).

the line should be better this year on paper alone, but its not.

Shame... Chiefs defense... specifically safeties and db's got exposed. Now Marcus Cooper is getting playing time with the Cardinals and just got his 3rd INT of the year so far.

Cut a 3rd round pick, cut fleming, don't resign sean smith, trade cooper and yet stick with albert wilson, De'anthony Thomas, Knile Davis (all who are getting zero playing time)

The Chiefs are hoping Moore can do a better job in Kansas City. The team announced on Friday that they have signed Moore and released linebacker Dezman Moses.

I need to trash the Chiefs more often... they beat Oakland 26-10 behind a ton of quality rushing and some nice smith passes and timely defense.
