Watching the game tonight, Bronco's are getting away with a shit ton of fouls.

Miller and Marshall both clearly hit Newton helmet to helmet and no fouls.

O line is holding the shit out of Panthers Defensive ends.

WOW! How the fuck did he miss that?

Fucking donkeys man. So god damn lucky.

What I dont get is how that helmet to helmet lunge at Cam didnt result in yardage. Really? Just offsetting penalties and repeat the down? That was a vicious and blatant hit. Im sure he will get fined for it, but still, thats the type of shit that the game doesnt need.

There were multiple hits by Denver defenders that should have resulted in ejections. Not sure how the refs missed them.

You really think they "missed" them?

The last one the ref was staring right at it and watched him launch from his feet with his head. I thought they were gonna crack down on that? That should be an instant ejection and 15 yards regardless of any other penalties on the same play.

yeah the poor spotting of the ball as well by the officials on multiple denver drives too. Coleman on the panthers got in the refs face when he clearly moved the ball forward half a yard on that goal line play in the 3rd of 4th quarter as well.

The blatant hits to the head right in front of officials was so obvious. I know some people don't like Cam Newton, hell most of the time I don't either. dude took a beating that no other QB would have had and not gotten calls.

kinda felt bad for newton. He has a bitch personality and is a whiny baby but he got hammered last night and took repeated shots to the head, which if you read the rule, any contact to a qb's head is a penalty. Miller hit him in the head, stewart, marshall. Was hoping the broncos would lose.

Also how is he not evaluated for a concussion? Especially after the last hit where he is laying on the ground?

Until newton kills himself or others due to CTE and other health issues. The nfl preaches safety, over and over, then doesn't even uphold its own standards (ie concussion protocol during an end of game drive, mvp player, non-calls on blatant hits, etc)

they also missed one one of the defenders came in and clearly wacked him in the head.

Derrick Johnson on the Chiefs was called for a similar yet much light hit on the head of Derek Carr on the Raiders last year.

The officiating is def not equal between refs and on specific quarterbacks.

I think Greg Olson the TE for Carolina had the right response.

"Regardless of what you think about Cam or his size/stature, etc he is generally one of the biggest guys on the field and biggest/most athletic QB playing, he is still a QB and must be treated like one"

Broncos' Marshall dumped by sponsor after protesting during national anthem

Brandon Marshall is facing the consequences of his decision to kneel during the national anthem

Less than 24 hours after protesting during the national anthem, Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall is already facing some backlash.
Marshall's decision to kneel during the anthem has cost him an endorsement deal with Air Academy Federal Credit Union. The company announced on Friday that it's severing all ties with the Broncos linebacker.
"Although we have enjoyed Brandon Marshall as our spokesperson over the past five months, Air Academy Federal Credit Union (AAFCU) has ended our partnership," the AAFCU said in a statement. "AAFCU is a membership-based organization who has proudly served the military community for over 60 years. While we respect Brandon's right of expression, his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership. We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors."
Marshall is the first player who's lost an endorsement deal over his decision to protest. Colin Kaepernick, Jeremy Lane and Eric Reid have also been protesting during the national anthem over the past two weeks.
For Marshall, the decision to protest came at the last second.
"I thought about it all the way up until when the lady was going to start singing," Marshall said after the game, via Yahoo.com. "I was like, hmm, they're going to get on me. At the end of the day, I'm definitely good with my decision."
Although the AAFCU specifically mentioned the military in its statement, Marshall said after Denver's 21-20 win that he has no issues with the military.

"I'm against social injustice," Marshall said. "I'm not against the military, the police or America at all. I'm against social injustice. I felt this was the right thing to do."
As for why he made the decision to protest, Marshall says he the chance to be seen by millions of viewers was the perfect time to do it.

"This is the right platform," Marshall said. "This is our only platform to be heard. I think a lot of times people want us to just shut up and entertain them, shut up and play football. But we have issues as well. We're educated individuals who went to college. When we have an opinion, I feel like a lot of people bash us for it."

Losing an endorsement deal wasn't the only blowback Marshall received. Many Twitter users cheered after the Broncos linebacker suffered an injury and had to be evaluated for a concussion during the second quarter of Denver's win.
