What other reason would Philly have for getting Bradford? He has a high cap number and is brittle.

Dudebro, I don't have a clue. I watch the Rams every Sunday. I was a huge Bradford fan and all I know is I'm relieved he is gone. I'm still crossing my fingers it goes through.

My point was, I don't see why Philly would trade for Bradford in the first place, despite what their down the line intentions are. I can't imagine TB or NYJ giving up their picks unless they get a king's ransom. They would have to get a Ricky Williams type deal, plus another 1st rounder to make it work for them, taking on all of Bradford's money.

I agree.

Maybe Tampa gets the following :

Bradford

Eagles 2015 - 1,2,3,4
Eagles 2016 - 1,2

Making more sense now,

Rams get - Eagles 1st rounder and Foles

Eagles get - Rams 1st rounder and Bradford

Yeah, just saw that. That does make quite a bit more sense, getting togehter a package to go after Mariota.

As a Rams fan, I'll still take it.

So they swapped firsts and QBs?

10th overall puts them in a pretty decent spot if Mariotta starts to fall.

Or it gives them a better chance to trade with either Tenn or TB.

Right, I think it's just trying to move up to have the best available package to be able to thrwo together, if necessary. Which, with all of the moves they've made, it would be silly to sit on Mariota and see if he falls. Go get him, don't take the chance he won't be there.

Of course, TN needs a QB now, as well.

Yeah the Locker retirement announcement is kind of a wtf. They have Mettenberger and Whitehurst so yeah they need a QB.

Not sure they would take Marriotta though. Jax is who I see as their trade partner. If they want too much they will wait and see if they actually take him. If they don't then I don't see him going anywhere else.

Raiders will stick with Carr
Wash
NYJ
Chicago
Atlanta
NYG

Only teams I see are Tenn and Jax. The rest won't take a QB. Titans have said they are "all in" with Mettenberger.

Texans traded QB Case Keenum back to the St. Louis Rams for a 7th-round pick in 2016, per league sources.

hmmm intresting
If Sam Bradford is not Eagles' starting QB this season, Philly gets back its 2016 2nd-round pick from STL.

and now

Eagles will surrender 2016 2nd-round pick to Rams in QB trade no matter what. But will get back a conditional 2016 pick from Rams. It will be a 3rd if Bradford does not play at all; and a 4th if he starts less than 50 percent of plays.

Patriots were all in last year, lost both top tier corners and their nose tackle.
