^ Yep, student section looked packed. Chairback section still looked pretty good, and anyone that holds those mid-court seats probably for damn sure holds football season tickets/was at the bowl game.

Also have to take into account that the secondhand market people are going to be major city occupants, its a much easier drive to Lawrence for a last minute game off of stub hub.

Yeah, I don't know why I thought the KSU football game was longer ago than I thought, considering my girlfriend bought chairback seats for this game simply because it was easier to get tickets from the bowl game.

My apologies to you KSU fans and now that I realize how close the two were together, it was actually a pretty good turnout.

Pwease accept my apology (I did say it was a good win, just don't tell my gf)

I was at the Oklahoma State - K-State game with Karlen today. That was a very intense game to be in attendance for & I was VERY happy I went.

To be honest, I was really impressed with the turn-out considering the "Fiesta Bowl hangover" & it is currently winter-break for the students.

I got back from the Fiesta Bowl after driving straight through around 5:30am this morning (18 hour trip) & Karlen was operating on very little sleep as well.

Speaking of shitty turnouts, Missouri almost got "Bucknelled" at home.

Yeah, almost...

Didn't realize until after the game Bucknell was top 30 RPI (or was anyway).

every time you post about MU this is the first thing that comes to my mind. You HAVE to do this about everything. Maybe it's just me. (I do enjoy your posts, i'm not being a dick). you can't say "we played like shit and almost lost at home"

Did you watch the game? Missouri didn't play amazing, but they didn't play like shit. Bucknell played well and had a good gameplan. Almost losing at home doesn't necessarily equal playing like shit.

And when I say "didn't realize", it means didn't learn until after the game finished. We all know Bucknell's history.

You get really annoying when you switch teams in the winter.

I noticed it too before I scrolled and read his post. Rolled my eyes when I saw you rationalizing the near loss.

Oh. That card again. I haven't mentioned ku or Nebraska for quite awhile. Me noticing that you have a reason for every MU situation has absolutely nothing to do with any team that I like. And losing to bucknell at home would have been a horrible loss no matter how you work the stats.

It would have sucked. But it didn't happen.

which is why I didn't mention it and still think that MU is going to be one hell of a dangerous team come tourney time. I also don't see why the couldn't win the SEC this year. Depends on how they do in true road games against decent competition.

Man they are turning the ball over A LOT. Seems like it's about every other trip down the floor. Add that and the fouling and putting them on the line a ton and it's a recipe for disaster.

I'm not sure you do considering your allegiance is to two different states.

Temple has made 1 shot in what seems like 12 minutes and are winning because of free throws and terrible KU offense ughghjhfuj

Because of Florida and an improving Kentucky. Flop Pressy won't be able to take them deep, just like he couldn't last year.

Although EJ had me pulling my hair out tonight.

Everyone had me pulling my hair out. The amount of lazy passes and passes straight to the other team was insane. You can tell they've only played 3 games in 3 weeks. Glad it was a close game that they could pull out. Wakes them up just in time for conference play.

Every single time McLemore has a break away dunk I get a huge smile on me face. Good game for sure. Temple put up a good fight against a KU offense that couldn't do shit.

That was the game KU needed before conference play. Too many shitty plays. They need to step it up by Wednesday.
