Default I shall have the Jeep lifted....

Decided to keep the Jeep for awhile. So I got the Rough Country 3.5". That will be here Friday. I already got my tires, they are 31x10.50 Maxxis Bighorns. Was going to go 32's but I got these for a good price.

The Lift

Tonight. Using my neighbors lift in his shop, then have my tires mounted tomorrow. I drive this thing everyday so a 3.5 seemed like a good DD lift.

Ya I know, I got antsy and wanted them now. Dind't feel like waiting up to a week for the tires I wanted. Oh well. I knew I could stuff them in with some trimming but I don't like the look of ZJ's with too big of tire for some reason

I think this is a perfect stance IMO

Thanks guys. It's a great setup for a DD. Rides great.

I've heard mixed reviews on this kit and I have zero complaints on the ride, quality and install.

looks good. 3.5" is plenty for a dd. 33s will be tight but 31s fit perfect.

I really like the look of the truck. I know its kind of an old thread. But I just thought I would say stance of the truck looks sick.

Thanks.

I flexed it out a little at work. Front still had the sway bar connected. I need to make some disco's.

Nice... I've got a 98 XJ thats my weekend warrior. Took it to KS Rocks for the first time last week and now I'll be dumping much more money into it. These things are fun. On the list:

Beefy track bar
Upgraded steering
Front/Rear bumpers
Front/Rear tube fenders
Roof Rack
locked 8.8 w/ 4.56's and locker up front on the D30

Currently just has a 4.5" RC Xseries lift on it with some other odds and ends, but it rocks so far.
