Kansas law is wrong on that map..."It is illegal to own switchblades and other automatic knives".

HB2033 repeals all existing local knife laws in Kansas and enacts statewide preemption of any attempt to pass new local knife laws more restrictive than state law. HB2033 also repeals the ban on the possession of switchblades, dirks, daggers and stilettos.

Missouri was updated in 2012 and that update does not show on the link.

I hate trying to understand a bill. Are auto knives legal in MO or not?

There sure alot of places in Missouri that sell them with no questions asked about who you are or what you want to do with it
