Default whats your side hustle?

"Money over everything"- or somthing like that.

With the economy, job market, and average income its almost a necessity for most familys now days. Granite i mean granted my quality of life minimums are probably higher than most with more priority’s/kids ect.. anyways heres a few of mine

1. casinos Poker somtimes blackjack on the weekends. Not for everyone and requires a bit of disposable capitol to cover bad runs however I've done really well here.
2. National Guard, while not a huge monthly check insurance costs are basically mute.

I do side work, all sorts of stuff. Brakes and oil changes to tile work and decking. I am a jack if all trades, master of none.

Set up saltwater aquariums in homes and businesses. Do alot of tank maintenance for people. I know a lot about it, been doing it almost 10 years. I still enjoy it seeing a beautiful coral reef or aggressive tank come together.

Detailing is pretty much it right now. Used to do computer builds but never charged enough for it to be of any substance, since it was just a hobby and only charged enough to get a date night with the wife out of it for her letting me spend the 4 hours or so to complete.

Online personal training. Doesn't take me a ton of time and people get worthwhile results for their $ provided they follow the plan.

^^This... Maybe one day I will find my true skill haha.
I will do minor car work, detailing, and still advertise myself for landscaping/lawncare during the summer. Snow shoveling in the winter. Gonna fab 26 snow shovels to the front of my WRX and go to town hahaha.

HVAC on the side. Trying to make it full time. I can do plumbing, electrical and a lot of random stuff around the house but if I had a choice to install an AC or change a water heater, I'm going with the AC every time.

Web hosting business, rental properties, software consulting (dev and architecture). Keeps me busy, but I'm a big believer in 3 cash flows as a path to financial independence.

Detailing and paint restoration. It's hard to find the time, but Its really nice doing it on the side so I can pick and choose the worthwhile jobs.

I'll actually probably be taking a few days off from my day-job next week to spend some quality time with a couple of Corvettes. Simply because I find the side-hustle so relaxing/rewarding compared to the daily grind..

Craigslist's Gigs section is where I get a lot of side money, usually photographing events and such, but sometimes helping out at events passing out tickets or bartending for private parties.

I am also starting to second-shoot weddings with an amazing photographer here in St. Louis that should pay 200-300 every wedding I help him with.

Been doing a lot more buying and selling. Car parts, electronics, etc. I also pay attention to my apartments dumpsters quite a bit now. Recently found about $300 worth of Crap just thrown away. Unsure if the guy got evicted or if he really left it all behind. Lots of computer stuff, action figures, and various other electronics. Dumpsters may not be everyone's cup of tea and I do not go overboard like some of the scrappers but just yesterday I sold $200 worth of stuff I found at my apartments dumpster. Money is money.

Work on motorcycles, changing brakes, tires, batteries, etc. Basic tune ups, brake bleeds and flushes, oil changes, simple things people dont want to hassle with.

I also can tune up bicycles, mtn bikes, road bikes, etc.

Pretty much I charge what I feel is a fair price for the work, depending on how in depth it is.

Word of mouth pretty much.

I can build computers no problem. Never really turned into a profit making thing. Just a thing for when someone needs one built, just to make a few dollars on the side helping them out. Maybe if my coworker wants this new build to come together, I'll charge him a flat assembly and startup fee, so he knows what he's saving and getting versus the big brands, etc.

I help my father's friends locate vehicles. They give me a model, mileage limitations, colors and packages/options. Sometimes it's a serious goose chase, but I'll work on a percentage usually or by the hour depending how obscure the car is. It's nothing to live off of, but an extra couple hundred bucks a month doesn't suck
