That tile is looking good. That is one of the few things I have not done. Whenever i decide to buy I want a tiled walk in shower. I really like that pebbled look. Looking good man!

Knotty Alder doors? Look similar to the ones I just ordered.

Yep. The home when we bought it had knotty alder cabinetry so we purchased doors and trimmed everything out to match. Since we're retaining some kitchen cabinets we're doing the same this time around as well.

Honed marble slab that's going to be used for master vanity/shower bench and also kids bath vanity.

Guest bath is getting a different granite piece with chiseled edges since it's so much more rustic. I didn't snap a picture of that one unfortunately.

Paint and stain this weekend it sounds like! Getting closer. Hopefully 3 weeks, although I am sure there will be a few random items remaining.

Everything inside is painted and stained and half the roof is done. There's shit all over though so no way to take pictures to tell what's going on. Carpet goes in starting Tuesday so I'll have some pics by the end of the week.

Most tile is set and they are just starting grout, so that should be mainly done before carpet Tuesday as well. Couple areas can't be completed until counters are in the week we move back in.

Here's the master shower sans grout for now:

The old wall and backsplash tile in the kitchen we were trying to come close to matching. Turned out well I think!

Wall cabinets set in Kitchen, Carpet being finished today. Kitchen island being set tomorrow. With any luck plumbers over on Monday to set toilets and shower fixtures. Counter install is sometime next week in bathrooms so they can't set those faucets until that's done.

Moving in Friday of next week! They'll be wrapping some things up for a couple of weeks, but nothing huge that we can't live through.

Bliss Homage - Color: Broadway

I honestly don't know much about the manufacturer or anything else. We have one flooring place in the valley with a few brands to choose from. This was the most pet-friendly option
(we have a golden pup) and the color was the best match. I didn't want to deal with an out of town place for carpet in case I needed anything going forward so went with the option I had local. Most places in Denver are so busy it's hard to get any sort of decent service when we are 1.5 hours away when they have plenty of customers right by them.

Some lighting in, should be finished up with what they have in tomorrow. The mono-point lights for the living space are due to arrive next Friday and hopefully the rest of the cans are as well (the only ones in currently are the ones for sloped ceilings).

Office. There's an LED light strip that gets mounted on the low point of ceiling too and washes across the ceiling for additional lighting, but the little wood channel hasn't been made yet to fit it in.

Master with pendants on:

Pendants off:

Master Shower. Glass is 2 weeks out. Still needs hand held shower wand and mounting bar put in place.

Moving in Friday before it's really fully done, but should only be 10 more days after that before it's fully complete.

looks great! That shower is my ideal shower. I want a jetted tub too. We are probably going to buy next year and if it doesn't have a tiled walk in shower, it will have one.

Heated floor up and running?

Yep, heated floor has been running since December! We didn't want a tub as we never sit in one and we have a hot tub outside in the event we ever do.

Here's the utility room with pressure tank and water heater all in:

Guest bath vanity/couter:

Master shower with final hand wand and water rail installed:

Master countertop in. Now to finish out the cabinet base:

Kids countertop in"

Old kitchen backsplash were matching to so we didn't have to rip out tons of old. Our guys going to chip out the old 1x1 tiles and replace. Old photo first, new stuff going in second:

Things on the schedule:

Couch and mattresses tomorrow.

Internet install tomorrow, direct tv Saturday, living room sub/tv/whole home rack and control 4 Monday/Tuesday, Kids new Bed Wednesday. Hopefully we get an ETA on master furniture delivery sooner or later as we'll have a mattress on the floor for a couple of weeks waiting...

Outside with completed roof.

Living Room setup. Sub will get moved over into corner between couch and wall, but until final electrical inspection we are apparently not supposed to have anything along walls or they won't complete inspection when they come out.

oh man, that tv looks like it's in a bad spot. can it come out further from the wall so it's not hiding behind the fireplace to people viewing from the right?

Yeah, it wasn't as deep as we planned so we'll have to swap out to an articulating mount to pull it out some. We framed it out so we'd have 4" to get it level to the front, but then I swapped to an OLED and it's not nearly as deep as a regular flatscreen would be.

It also only clears by about 1/8" on either side between the wall and the fireplace.

Are you one of the people that doesn't like above fireplace mounted TVs?
