I'm gonna have KW add this as an announcement, so use this to add links like these, opinions on cameras both good and bad, and just anything that will help someone make a decision on what suits them.

Try setting your iso to the lowest setting possible. It's 100 on my XTi, not sure what it is on your sony.

True, some you can, some you can't. Depending on if he has the manual setting. I'm not familiar with his camera so I couldn't say lol

I'm somewhat new to KC.

What are the good camera stores in KC? ...not the chain stores.

The two main stores I have shopped at are Crick Camera Shop Inc (though the service sucked last time I went there) and Overland Photo Supply. I have another store that's good, but I can't think of the name right now for the life of me... I'm sure I will think of it when I lay in bed.

there's Photographx which is up north by barry road and I29. On southwest blvd is Independent Photo Art Supply They're mostly a film sort of place and don't do the processing and printing like photographx does. But it's filled with some crazy old tripods and neat stuff. If you felt like going medium or large format it would be the place to go.
