Default (88-91) 4 door Civic on 71N

Some Civic started pacing me on 71 N going towards the city, so I accelerated a few times just to get some distance between us. Well, he kept pulling up next to me so I decided to give him a run. Needless to say I was a bit surprised, I pulled decently on him each run we made, but I did notice he had 4 total people in the car and traction may have been an issue. Definitely turbo'ed, really rough shape, and REVLINE stickers on the rear windows. When we slowed to a crawl around a few stoplights I told him that I was impressed, I also asked if the car was from Belton, the group in the car smiled and said yes. Don't know they guy, or what he has done, but I "heard" about the car before.

Thanks for the runs.

Jeremy Terry, B16 turbo. I posted this thread on his wall on FB so hopefully he'll chime in soon.

haha yes unfortunately. I don't really publicly talk about the car but, next time I'm out I would definitely talk to you about it. It is on e85 and 12 lbs currently. Will be getting a new clutch asap cuz the exedy stage 1 is not holding up.

Something about the Honda crowd I think. Can't talk about what's under the hood bro. You'll find out in 10 seconds or less.

He has a turbo honda. Getting specific won't change the desire for someone to steal it.

Its probably a stock block on 12 psi so roughly 330-340 hp with the e85? Even if he had full coverage, it's still a 90 4 door civic, so wouldn't they just give him what that's worth? I didn't think insurance would cover all the extra turbo shit? Maybe I'm mistaken

Get an appraisal and insure it to that value.

My '98 Cobra has full coverage and an additional grand of coverage for special equipment. I'm an old assed man so it only costs me $49 a month.

Considering my driving habits it is good piece of mind

That's cool man. Of your ever in the KC north area hit me up. You'd probably get me, but might be a close one. If you hang out with Cody have him call me, he knows my car somewhat.
