Del Sol worth it? - KCSR

That thing looks beat up. For a "motor rebuilt a month ago" the engine bay doesnt look it from pics. Interior looks ragged out.

I'm sure the motor was rebuilt without concern to being all painted up and sparkly.The interior from the pictures doesn't look "ragged out". Beat up? You mean paint chips from a poor paint job and possibly a hood not seated correctly?

Confusing comments,but noted.Car is over 20 yrs old...

If it's a true Si, I guess.

But the paint is in shit condition, can the pics were kind of blurry, but looks like a couple areas of rust.

Has some issues in the interior, has a LOT of exterior issues. The current owner or a previous one had a really fantastic habit of hitting shit in that car. That would be a big red flag to me that it hasn't been taken care of during its life. The engine rebuild reflects that. Motor doesn't look very clean, so I'd be curious about what the rebuild consisted of.

Looks like the current owner is who turned wrenches on the vehicle, so who knows if they knew what the fuck they were doing or not. I tend to not have a lot of faith if they can't spell/type very well that their attention to detail is enough to correctly rebuild an engine.

I wouldn't buy it. Seems like a gamble.

Looks like the post has been removed, but if you're after a decent condition del Sol they do pop up pretty regularly.

Yea they pop up but price reflects condition. $2500 wasn't bad for 20 year car in one piece unpolluted by the junk added by the many.Jack
