Default 2006 GTO 569rwhp

2006 GTO

Just a couple mods to her,

ProCharger D1SC 7psi
Cam
Long tubes

Pump gas, no Meth
Stock Long Block, intake and TB.
Tuned in house here at HOB

This GTO's cam lope at idle, will let you know that it's anything but stock. But still remains tame and well mannered, before you lay into the "loud pedal" These cars are just amazing how well mannered they can be, and the gas mileage they can get producing the power numbers they do. I fall in love more and more everyday with them.

Thanks for looking,
EA

I would be willing to bet this car would make an easy 590 if I wanted to lean on the tune. Though I will wait till summer time when it's hotter then satan's kitchen, before I add anymore timing to her.

Right now she will live a long and healthy life at this power level. Maybe someday add a little Meth kit to the mix, and see what she makes?!?!?

Is your beater supposed to run circles around your "fast" car though?

you can push a 5.7 to over 700 to the tire if done right
this is on the stock short block as well.

Well I've heard LS1's were kind of a ticking time bomb on 8#'s intercooled. I'd imagine a LS2 on 7#'s is pretty safe.

There's not a magic number as far as boost is concerned. It's all in the tune.

Less pedal. More mileage.

Get a retarded loud exhaust, that will fix your gas mileage issues -- you won't wanna push it down far when just driving around.

Holy shit, how much more does your car weigh than an f-body? Stock 6-speed LS1 f-bodies put out some impressive gas mileage, better than my Integra in some cases.

there is something fucked on your car. i in no means want to sound like a dick or sound like i am trashing your car but for being an ls1 you car puts down way to low on horse power numbers and gas milage. on the highway i scored over 25 mpg and put down over 310 hp to the wheels stock. someone needs to find out what is up with your car. you will enjoy it a lot more once you get it fixed and running properly
