Default Tire suggestion please

I'm running Michilen Pilot Super Sport as of now but I wanna poke around for other suggestions.

around $150 or less (no not around $180 or higher)
Summer Tire (don't need an all season I have a truck for the winter)

key points I'm looking at: grip, grip, and more grip. road noise, tire ware (the p s s 's last me about a year)

Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R

A little over your stated max, but tons of grip for the price.

Isnt really a better street tire than the PSS in my opinion. I'd stick with those.

Similar to the PSS the Continental ExtremeContact Sport is a great new tire with tons of grip. (within the $150 budget)

If you are wanting a more summer related the Dunlop Sport MAXX RT, RE71R or Toyo R888 are stickier choices. (outside of the $150 budget)

this.

the conti is also a light weight tire. it won't have 200 treadwear grip, but enough to work over(what is likely) a dated/worn suspension.
