I talked to Emmanuel everytime I saw him at Revline. He was definitely a good guy. RIP man. It's sad to see people leaving this world so young.

Joel. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I hope you get better soon.

RIP Lauren.

Holy shit. I can't count how many hours Joel has worked on my cars. So sad, so fucking sad. Emmanuel was a good guy all the times I talked to him down there too.

RIP :/

Same, I talked to Joel whenever I could, didn't know E that well, but we were always bullshitting when I was up at Revline.

Quote:
Two people died and another was seriously injured Wednesday night after two motorcycles and a sport utility vehicle were involved in a Northland crash. One motorcyclist also was hit by a tractor-trailer after the accident.
Authorities said they’re still piecing together details. About 9:44 p.m., two motorcycles heading north on U.S. 169 near Interstate 435 collided with an SUV heading the opposite direction, authorities said.
Independence resident Lauren R. Hance, 24, who was a passenger on one of the motorcycles, died at the scene.
A minute after that accident, her driver, Emmanuel E. Calderon, 23, of Kansas City, was hit by a southbound tractor-trailer driven by a Georgia man who swerved to avoid him, police said. Calderon was pronounced dead about an hour later, after being taken to a Liberty hospital.
Joel A. Mashburn, 25, of Independence, who was driving the other motorcycle, suffered serious injuries. Authorities said the two motorcycles were traveling together.
John T. Kelly, 52, of Liberty, was driving the SUV.

I heard about it last night when I was at work. This happened just a mile from my house, I drove past this morning hoping to find some answer as to what happened but could not see anything. I had not talked with Emmanuel much but had alot of mutual freinds with him, he was a good guy. Prayers go out to his family and Lauren's. I hope Joel has a speedy recovery.

I just had a very close friend to me pass away on the 12th from a head on collision with an SUV on his bike I feel for everyone involved. What a terrible thing to happen.

Sounds to me like the bikes went down and went into the oncoming lane, one or both of which struck the SUV. After that a semi, also in the oncoming lane, hit one of the downed riders.

wow, the story makes it even more sad.

there was an accident down here on the interstate recently. one person got out of the car uninjured but was struck by a semi. insane.

This I what I thought had happened. When I first heard the news I did not know a SUV and Semi where involved in it. The new's also has their story mixed up according to what I have heard.

I've known Joel for a while, he's an awesome dude...he always seems to have a smile on his face. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

RIP Lauren and E.

I think I'm done riding 2 up with the gf. I've always been paranoid about it.
