Default Harley Build Number 2 - 2008 Night Train

So started with this:

Adding:

FL Road King "Freight Train" front end with +4 deg rake
Upper fork covers
14 in Road 6 Custom Apes (internally wired)
Roland Sands Vintage Fender kit (200mm) with lip mounted LED Stop/Turn/Tail
No Chrome - All chrome will be Copper
Half Moon floorboard kit
18x5.5 Rear (Black hoop and hub, copper spokes)
23x3.75 Front (Black Hoop and hub, copper spokes)
Bitchin Seat
Shotgun Air Ride shock
Possibly an extended dash
Flushmount gas cap/gage
Fuel Moto 107 kit with TW 777 cams
Dyno Jet Power Vision

Just going to put up this picture for now.

The bike is currently just a frame and motor/trans. 107 kit is installed, just dropped the wheels off for tires and assembly earlier today, and everything else is pretty much done, just need to reassemble. This thing should look pretty damn good when it's done.

Well, this is sort of what we'll end up with. Different wheels and exhaust and a few other small things, but the overall look is there....

The factory night train front end has too much rake. Please duplicate the inspiration picture and pull the forks in and shorten them.

Yes and yes. I love the style of this bike. That front end just does it for me.

Can't. We actually have to take it out a little to clear the 23.

Front wheel is assembled. Lighting is off a little, makes it way more gold than it is.

Got some more work in on the bike project today. Front end is together, wheels are all but ready to go. Got everything mocked up and decided the rotors and pulley needed some attention. No pics of that stuff yet, but I did take a comparison shot of the front wheel...

For reference, my bike has a 19 on the front. Notice you can see my entire wheel. Yeah.

The next time I post here it's gonna be a big update. If the bike isn't running it's at least going to be on the ground.

Rear fender and custom tail light installed. There's clearance at full drop, but not much!

Not sure I'm really feeling the fender, it doesn't really follow the tire very well. The front wheel looks way better than I expected and I'm loving the copper.

Well, got it kind of wrapped up. Bad tire on the rear, so that's going to need some attention. Looks like one of the push rods is leaking so that's going to need looked at too, but it runs and rides. Quite well at that.

turned out really nice. can you shoulder then forks 1.5" or so? aside from the extra rake/frame gap, I love how it turned out
