Man, get yourself a handlebar. So much more fun, comfortable, and control than clip ons.

The GS or the Triumph? The GS runs like new, only better. The Triumph is a bit of a beast and kind of cold blooded.

Carb bike. Needs jet work as its really cold blooded in terms of revving. The idle circuit is fine. It starts and idles great, bu feels like it needs to clear its throat until the air temps are above the mid 50s.

After that? It moves pretty nice.

That's a couple of years before they went efi. Clean and sync the carbs and she'll scream I'm sure. Cool old bike

Nice looking bike. I may try and find a Trident tail/side panel piece.

Once the temps are up, its screams now. 60-80 in top gear is funny.

There's nothing else like a 3cyl wailing when you hit the midrange. Torque everywhere too. I love triples and I've owned twins and 4 bangers as well.

Do they have rise, then? I have ridden a couple bikes with comfy clip ons, for sure. They don't have the mad crazy control that a wide-as-fuck dirtbike handlebar does, though my bar is like 32" wide.

Offer me money for the GS550es.

I think whoever rides it will love it. I am torn between which I would rather have sell. The VZ800 or the GS. Its like choosing between losing the penis or the balls.

Got my bike back from the MidAmerica Powersports after they did a couple recalls. I went to check tire pressures and my rear valve stem cracked...took the rear wheel back to MidAmerica and they put a ghetto 90 degree stem on.

Like this.

I guess all is good. Rear wheel is back on and the bike is ready just in time for the rain.

I prefer my fags dry. I have a test in Wichita at 2pm on Friday and then ACLS training in Kansas City on Saturday and Sunday. Which means unfortunately I'll miss the mushy, moist, meat guzzling motorcycle thing.

Honestly, I like the 90 degree stems in the back. it can be a PITA to get a pressure gauge around the sprocket and brake sometimes with the straight ones. As long as it holds air, it'll be all good either way though.

True. The 90 degree is nice, it just doesn't feel very secure though. I was told they put them on Goldwings, so they must be nice...
