Default Eureka Run

Thought I'd toss up a couple of pics of the new scoot. I don't think I've really put much about it up over here. Had it a couple of seasons now. Just did a quick down and back to Eureka Springs. Think we logged around 700 miles on this one. We had to cut it a day short though so that's still pretty decent. The motor work I just had done was well worth the investment as it made 2up way more tolerable. Leave it in 6th and let it eat, pulls away very nicely. Makes up for the shitty gearing HD puts in from the factory. Anyway, on to the pics....

Bike looks great, dude!

I love it down there in Arkansas. My parents live at Forsyth, Mo. and my dad and I ride the crap out of the roads in southern mo and northern arkansas. There are some real gems down there.

If you take highway 65 down south, you can hop off at Ozark, Mo and take 125 through chadwick. It's an awesome road and cuts time on the big highway down.

Wish my bike was more of a highway cruiser to get down there. I need some different clip on first.

I had a lot of fun down there in June and July. Great roads.

After taking my trip to North Carolina on my Honda, I really believe southern MO and northern AR to be hidden gems for good riding in our part of the country.

I think they're some of the best riding in any part of the country. I've travelled to a good number of places, and I think that the Ozarks offer just as good or roads as the Smokey Mountains, CO, and the canyons in CA. The scenery is a bit different in each, but honestly, I couldn't say that I like any more than the roads I've ridden around Eureka.

Hwy 123 has some of the best selections of switch backs, tight turns, sweepers, and straights that I have ever seen. Great road, if you haven't ever ridden it down there.

Was with a pack of close to 100 supermotos on that road, we all got held up by a group of 12 Harleys for close to 10 miles.

We just passed the Harleys and cars whenever there was a straight enough section of road to safely see any oncoming traffic. Double yellow line, what?
