Default What DOT 1/2 helmet are you cruiser guys using that doesn't look like Toad from Mario

I found the following DOT options... Looking for a 1/2 helmet to wear around Missouri for short cruises. I have a Bell Pit Boss now but it makes me feel like a bobble head.

Any thoughts on these or others you'd recommend?

Honestly, why even bother with a half helmet?

I don't ride on the highway so wind/debris isn't really a concern. I just need something legal in MO that will protect my head if I bounce the back/side of my noggin off the asphalt

I'd still ride with a full face and take the windshield out.

Not trying to derail the thread, just a suggestion.

I can't stand the looks of any 1/2 helmet. I ride with a full face helmet all the time. Much safer, much better looking options, changeable face shields, the ability to put blue tooth speakers in them, etc.

Full face just seems weird on a chromed out cruiser

You know what looks even weirder than full face on a cruiser?

No face when you go down

At the speeds I'll be riding that's like telling a skate or snowboarder that they need a full face... I appreciate the concern but I really just need input on the original post

Mine are on the way. Looked around for awhile before I bought them. Excellent reviews..

Every review of the outlaw was that it still wasn't small enough to eliminate the mushroom head look.
