Default First Bentley in the shop

I have not seen one of the older ones up close before. Nice car and they are reasonably affordable. This is an 89 Turbo R, they are on Cars.com for ~$15K. It would be a good car if you're a realtor.

The kids working on it didn't seem to have trouble finding their parts.

Apparently there is a local shop that specializes in these and is known as one of the best in the country.

I always loved the looks of those. I'm not sure I would want to spend $15k on one though.

They are all about luxury and craftsmanship, NOT really about performance. Reason they have a turbo v8 is because of their weight.

Pretty car, I wouldn't even want to imagine what it would cost to maintain though.

Probably owned by a complete false baller though, lol how many miles were on it?

An interesting video of the 1989 Turbo R that Jay Leno owns.

Something went wrong. Please make sure you added the video correctly.

You never know. RR and Bently have sourced parts from other manufacturers for some time. There are a number of years in the 90's for example, that they used GM's 4L80E Transmission. I am sure some parts may be a lot more modified than others.

On that same note though, I saw a quick clip on Autoweek of the new RR Wraith. Apparently, the transmission has its own GPS to better adapt to road conditions.
