I think it was GL, they would have incorporated a slight green glow with. There is the other side of the coin that whoever Alfred was talking to is a baddie...

or it could be the first introduction to Aqua man, given the water ripples and they just threw that scene in to throw everyone off.

Amber Heard's Queen Of Atlantis Stands Tall In This New JUSTICE LEAGUE Promotional Image

We've seen quite a lot of the actually team recently, but artwork on the side of some Justice League tie-in merchandise has now provided us with a new look at Amber Heard as The Queen of Atlantis, Mera.

We've been seeing quite a lot of Justice League promotional material doing the rounds recently as the various tie-in merchandise prepares to roll out in anticipation of the movie's release in just a few months time - but while most of that has focused on the 6 main team-members, here we have a new look at one of the supporting characters.

Amber Heard's Mera will be introduced in Justice League before moving on to play a much larger role in Aquaman, and here we get a new glimpse of The Queen in her Atlantean armor.

The image popped up over at the DCEU Chambers Twitter account, and was first spotted on the packaging of the upcoming Mera Barbie doll.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: Come Get An Awesome First Look At Batman's Newest Toy, The Flying Fox

When the Batman returns, he'll not only have new friends, he'll also have a sick new ride: the Flying Fox! New Justice League concept art has been released, giving us a first look at the massive aircraft!

While Star Wars: The Last Jedi may be their cover story this week, Entertainment Weekly has also obtained a new piece of concept art from the next DC Films adventure, Justice League, which is due out in theaters this November.

The new artwork takes us deep inside the Batcave to give us an early look at the Batman (Ben Affleck) giving his new allies - Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) - the lowdown about the apocalyptic threat that's coming to Earth. In a conversation with EW, Affleck teased an interesting dynamic, "He brings them to the Batcave and lets them in on the central conflict of the story, who the enemy is. There’s a little bit of a Magnificent Seven aspect to it.

With his loner status now in the past, Batman has a brand new toy to play with: the Flying Fox, which will serve as the Justice League's main form of transportation across the globe as the deal with Steppenwolf and his Parademons. Production designer Patrick Tatopoulos was kind enough to provide a few cool details about the massive aircraft, which can reportedly hold up to three Batmobiles! “The bottom part of the jet is a huge cargo bay, which the Batmobile sits in. The second floor is like a cultural center, with computer terminals. The third story is the cockpit. Whatever floor you are on, you can see [the other] two stories.

Check out the concept art below:

JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Confirms That Joss Whedon's Reshoots Have Lightened The Movie's Tone (Specifically Cyborg)

Justice League star Joe Morton (Dr. Silas Stone) has revealed in a new interview that Joss Whedon has indeed been changing the tone of the movie, specifically with the portrayal of the once stoic Cyborg.

We heard not too long ago that Joss Whedon's Justice League reshoots were "extensive" and those of you who speculated at the time that The Avengers director might be lightening the movie's tone have seemingly been proven right! During a recent interview with IGN, actor Joe Morton - who plays Dr. Silas Stone, the father of Victor/Cyborg - has confirmed that tonal changes are indeed being made.

Asked if he's participated in any scenes which have changed his character, Morton said no, but did go on to reveal that Cyborg has undergone some significant changes in the way he'll be portrayed.

"I know that with Ray [Fisher], the young man who plays Victor, there were some adjustments that they made in terms of the tone of that character. I think what I heard was that there was a need from the studio to lighten up the film in a way, that the film felt too dark. I don’t know what that meant in terms of how it actually got translated in terms of the reshoots but that’s what I heard. That’s what I thought some of the reshoots were about." Thinking about it, this makes a lot of sense.

In the trailers for Justice League, Cyborg has come across as quite joyless and that probably has something to do with the fact that Zack Snyder wanted to emphasise just how difficult it is for him to have to come to terms with the fact that he's now more machine than man. He's no longer in charge, though, and if Whedon wants to make Cyborg a wise-cracking hero, that's what's going to happen!

‘Justice League’ is an ‘Interesting Product’ of Two Very Different Directors Says Ben Affleck

Frenzied reports of the goings-on of the Justice League reshoots have DC Extended Universe fans concerned that this spells Doomsday for massive superhero team-up movie. But Justice League star and Caped Crusader himself, Ben Affleck, is swooping in to save the day and say, don’t worry. Um…we think?
Affleck commented on the upcoming Justice League movie, which was directed by Zack Snyder before he left due to family tragedy. Former Marvel Studios favorite Joss Whedon, who had recently jumped across the aisle to direct Batgirl, stepped in to handle reshoots. The two-director situation is unusual, but shouldn’t have fans too worried, Affleck said, diplomatically calling Justice League “an interesting product of two directors.” Interesting.

Affleck talked to Entertainment Weekly about Warner Bros.’ anticipated superhero movie. As a filmmaker himself, having won an Academy Award for the taut ’70s thriller Argo, Affleck said the situation is “unorthodox” but the two differing visions of both directors will make a movie that people will watch:
“It’s a little bit unorthodox. Zack had a family tragedy, and stepped off, which was horrible. For the movie, the best person we could’ve possibly found was Joss. We got really lucky that he stepped in. [Justice League is] an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes. I’ve never had that experience before making a movie. I have to say, I really love working with Zack, and I really love the stuff we’ve done with Joss.”
It’s a pretty basic non-answer. “Interesting” is as loaded a term as you can get, with both positive and negative connotations. And saying that the two directors both have “unique” visions doesn’t mean those visions will mesh. But who knows, it may be that Affleck is playing it safe after he went to bat for the critically slammed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Affleck has become a master of the diplomatic answer as of late, denying rumors that he will be leaving the role of Batman after Justice League despite reports that Warner Bros. is looking to replace him.
On the more hopeful side, however, Affleck also brushed off rumors that the extensive, tone-changing Justice League reshoots spelled trouble for the film.
“I’ve never worked on a movie that didn’t do reshoots. Argo, we did reshoots for a week and a half! Four days on Gone Baby Gone!” And though the studio hasn’t said anything official about Affleck’s future as Batman, the actor is confident that Justice League reflects the best ambitions of the DC Extended Universe. “This is a really nice time to work in DC. They’re hitting their stride. They’re getting it right. It’s starting to feel like it’s really working.”
Movies that have been dogged by frequent reshoots rumors have been admittedly hit or miss. While Rogue One ended up turning out for the better after studio-mandated reshoots, Suicide Squad ended up being…Suicide Squad. For now, we’ll have to wait and see if Affleck’s promise that Justice League is “interesting” comes to fruition. Whatever that means.

What Cyborg Fears Most In Justice League

For decades, Cyborg was primarily famous for being a Teen Titan, but starting with the New 52 reboot in 2011, he's now known as one of the Justice League's founders. The Justice League movie will keep Ray Fisher's iteration of the hero as one of the team's main members. But despite having amazing, cybernetic abilities, Cyborg isn't invincible, and one thing will be particularly frightening for him in Justice League is not being able to hide who he is from the public like his teammates can do. As Joe Morton, who plays Victor Stone's father, Silas Stone, explained:

Unlike the other members of the Justice League, Victor has no alias, he has no way of hiding behind another personality or some sort of mask in order to protect themselves. He is very much like Frankenstein [Frankenstein's Creature] again in that there's no disguising who he is. So that what I think ends up happening is that section of the movie and certainly that character, Cyborg, is a metaphor for being The Other.

Joe Morton has a point. The other Justice Leaguers have civilian identities to go back to, but Victor Stone has to be Cyborg 24/7, unable to hide his robotic body unless he lurks in the shadows and covers himself in heavy clothing (Raphael's trench-coat and hat disguise from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comes to mind). And as Morton noted earlier in his interview with IGN, even though Victor's father has successfully reconstructed him doesn't mean that Victor himself looks at all this as "something that's correct." After elaborating on how "The Other" refers to someone who can contribute to society, but is often ostracized by the public, Morton continued:

So I think that's what Victor's fears are. He has to figure out how to overcome before he then eventually becomes benevolent and understands that the powers that he has can be used for great good.
Moviegoers were introduced to Ray Fisher's Victor Stone last year in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice through video footage from Lex Luthor's metahuman files. Victor had lost most of his body in a catastrophic accident, and after repeatedly failing to revive his son, Silas was able to reconstruct his body by activating a Mother Box, one of the three Apokoliptan supercomputers left behind on Earth. Now Victor is back on his feet, and when the events of Justice League unfold, he'll help Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Aquaman fight Steppenwolf and his Parademon army, who've come to collect the Mother Boxes and lay waste to Earth. But even after that story has concluded, Cyborg will still have to struggle with the general population looking at him with suspicion because his mechanical appearance, as well as come to terms that he'll never be able to lead a "normal" life again.

JUSTICE LEAGUE International Poster Spotlights The Civilian Identities Of The Five Heroes

A Japanese version of an earlier Justice League poster has been spotted in the wild, and it provides new looks at Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman in their civilian attire. Check it out.

A Japanese poster for Justice League was spotted in a theatre and shared online, giving us new looks at 5 of the 6 heroes (no Superman, of course) out of costume.

The bottom part of the one-sheet features previously-seen images of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman, but above them we have all-new pics of Bruce Wayne, Diana Prince, Barry Allen, Arthur Curry, and Victor Stone.

We'll update if this is officially released, but you can check out a low-res version below.

SPOILERS: Joss Whedon Is Reshooting JUSTICE LEAGUE's Ending To Remove A Huge Cliffhanger

Justice League was originally subtitled "Part One" and we now know why as a new report states that Joss Whedon's extensive reshoots include a new ending getting rid of the arrival of a certain villain.

When Warner Bros. announced their DC Films slate, Justice League Part One and Justice League Part Two were among them. The mixed response to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice brought a halt to plans to shoot them back to back but it appears as if Zack Snyder still planned on finishing the upcoming November release with a cliffhanger ending which would have set the stage for the sequel.

According to Slash Film, Justice League was supposed to end with Darkseid's arrival on Earth with the plan being for him to be the big bad in the follow-up. This was to be expected as Steppenwolf has always felt like a stepping stone to that iconic villain but that ending has now been totally scrapped.

Apparently, Wonder Woman star Robin Wright has been brought in for a flashback shedding more light on Steppenwolf's origin and the looming threat of Darkseid is being downplayed with the reshoots (presumably to keep the door open for a new villain to take centre stage in the sequel or to give Warner Bros. time to reassess where the franchise goes from here if Snyder doesn't make his return).

This seems like a shame but was probably to be expected, especially when Justice League reshoots have been described as "extensive." What do you guys think? Share your thoughts in the usual place.

Anticipation for the Justice League movie is ramping up, with fans hoping for a course correction in the DC Extended Universe. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, star Ben Affleck plays up the idea of November’s team-up movie taking a mulligan on the Caped Crusader after his brutal, nonsensically angry depiction in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In fact, the actor wants fans to know they’re getting the comic book Batman this time.

“’BvS’ departed a little bit from the traditional Batman,” says Affleck. “He started out with all this rage directed at Superman, because of his coworkers who had died in the fight Superman had with Zod. He was holding on to a lot of anger, in a little bit of an irrational way, whereas this is a much more traditional Batman. He’s heroic. He does things in his own way, but he wants to save people, help people. This is more in keeping with the canon of how Batman’s usually been portrayed, and how he’s portrayed vis a vis the Justice League in the comics. This is more the Batman you would find if you opened up your average Batman comic book. Not that it’s average.”
Not unlike Joss Whedon’s first Avengers, which was all about disparate heroes putting aside their differences to work together, Affleck sees the Justice League itself in the same terms as the United Nations.
“I think it’s a really cool story,” Affleck adds. “Actually, it’s sort of a story about multilateralism. It’s not a bad theme to have! He’s put in this position of having to reach out, find other people, convincing them to do something. Part of the drama of the movie is the question of whether or not the team is going to come together. It’s very different from the tenor of the last movie.”
As for the persistent rumors dogging Affleck (who turned 45 yesterday) that he will not portray the character again in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, the actor’s Oscar-winning brother Casey Affleck added fuel to the fire by telling Boston’s WEEI 93.7FM, “He’s not gonna do that movie, I don’t think… is that breaking news? I was just kinda making that up!” We’ll see how things pan out, but news of Daniel Craig returning to Bond today gives us hope for Batfleck.
Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions

Fan Theory Says That Green Lantern Is A Justice League Villain

Justice League fans are finally getting to know the main villain of the film, but what if there's also a former hero on his team?
That's the premise of a new fan theory that's surfaced thanks to the Justice League toys. As seen in the trailers, Steppenwolf's main force is made up of Parademons, the relied upon army of choice for Darkseid. Most of the Parademons lack colorful characteristics, but one version stands out thanks to its green armor.
The Green Lanterns were mentioned in Steppenwolf's trailer narration, as he refers to Earth being ripe for the picking. Steppenwolf says "No protectors here. No Lanterns. No Kryptonian. This world will fall, like all the others."
So obviously there are already Lanterns in the universe, and there is typically one (if not multiple) Lanterns assigned to Earth's sector. So, what happened to Earth's Green Lantern, and how does Steppenwolf know he or she is not active?
According to a fan theory by DarkseidDescends, that new action figure provides a clue. What if Steppenwolf took out Earth's Lantern protector? Knowing him, it isn't hard to imagine he went one step further and turned Earth's Green Lantern into one of his Parademon soldiers.
The picture he posted shows the up close shot of the Parademon action figure alongside a mock-up of what a DCEU Green Lantern could look like, and it doesn't seem completely unfathomable. Granted, the GL here looks a lot like Sebastian Stan mind you, but that doesn't take away from the main point of the theory.
If this figure is one of many that look like it, perhaps Steppenwolf has been attacking the Green Lanterns as a whole, picking them off one by one and turning them into his soldiers. It would explain their lesser presence, and ultimately why they decide to help the Justice League take on Apokolips' forces (in future movies of course).
Hit the next slide for one additional theory that brings in Hal Jordan.

Hal Jordan In The Mix

The second theory provided by Nerdinator2029 builds on this theory but adds one substantial scenario.
Odds are that Steppenwolf has been planning this attack for some time, biding his time until Earth was most vulnerable. So, it makes sense that he would seek out the most prominent threat first, and since he knows of the Lanterns they would be an obvious first choice.
The second theory envisions the Justice League fighting their way into Steppenwolf's ship. They discover a man in obvious pain attached to cables, which are drawing power from him. Unsure of how long he's been there, the League asks "what kind of a man could take that?"
Wonder Woman says "One with a mighty will", and frees the mysterious man, who turns out to be Hal Jordan. It would seem Steppenwolf took Earth's Lantern guardian off the board and used his power to his benefit. Now that Superman is "dead", the time to strike was too good to pass up.
Hit the next slide for what we know about Green Lantern in the DCEU.

What We Know So Far

So, not much is known about the Green Lantern side of the DCEU, but there are a few details out there.
According to an earlier report, there will be a Green Lantern presence in Justice League, but the character will not be human in nature. That crosses standbys like Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner off the board, but opens things up to plenty of other Alien Lantern members.
This theory was fed after the newest Comic-Con trailer, where a green light is seen in the reflection of Alfred's glass, especially when he says "He said you'd come. Now let's hope you're not too late." This could also be a reference to Superman of course, but the light is what charges the Lantern rumors.
According to Steppenwolf, the Green Lanterns already exist in the DCEU, and they will get their chance to shine in the Green Lantern Corps movie coming in 2020. As for that film, the project is being pitched as a Cosmic Buddy Cop movie with Jordan and Stewart as the leads, but nothing specific as far as plot or other characters is known yet.

'Justice League' Movie Hints At Flash's Origin Story

The Justice League movie Twitter account just hinted at the DC Extended Universe origin story for the fastest man alive.
The Justice League movie Twitter account tweeted out an animated GIF of The Flash using his super speed. The tweet reads “After an electric storm, Barry Allen was never the same.”

When Batman (Ben Affleck) first becomes aware of Allen (Ezra Miller) in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, via Lex Luthor’s secret files, the young hero already has his super speed. That being the case, it's unclear if fans will ever see The Flash’s DC Extended Universe origin story told on screen.
However, the reference to an electric storm suggests that DCEU Barry Allen’s origin is pretty similar to the character’s classic DC Comics origin story, where Allen gained his super speed after being struck by lightning while holding chemicals in his laboratory.
More details about the DCEU Flash’s origin story may come into focus in the Flashpoint movie. Though the film is now titled after a DC Comics event rather than the Flash himself, the cornerstone of that event was the murder of Nora Allen, Barry’s mother, when Barry was still a child.

RUMOR: Has Joss Whedon Cut Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor From JUSTICE LEAGUE?

After a press release confirmed Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor for November's Justice League movie, a new rumor purports that he's been cut- presumably under Joss Whedon's new direction for the film.

Last December, a press release from Warner Bros. confirmed that Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor would be returning for Justice League, in some form or fashion. This came after Eisenberg himself confirmed that he would be shooting scenes for the film last August.

However, a new rumor from BOF [via Batman-News] states that he's been cut from the film. Of course, this rumor comes in the wake of several reports that Joss Whedon is making sweeping changes to Zack Snyder's original vision, even going so far as to change the ending.

Stay tuned to CBM for any additional information from the Trades or WB itself as they'll likely be a follow up report confirming or debunking the rumor. Were you looking forward to seeing how prison life changes Lex or does the news of his potential exclusion actually increase your optimism about Whedon's "unification of the seven six"?

JUSTICE LEAGUE: Zack Snyder Shares A New Image Of One Of The Movie's Amazon Warriors

He may not be at the helm of Justice League right now but original director Zack Snyder continues to share content from the movie and has now revealed a very cool character portrait of one of the Amazons.

Joss Whedon may be in charge of Justice League but Zack Snyder continues sharing behind the scenes photos from the movie on his Vero account. The latest is Kristine Cabanban, a friend of the filmmaker's who made a cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will play one of the Amazons in this highly anticipated release. As you can see, she definitely looks pretty badass suited up.

The armour worn by these warriors hasn't changed much since we last them but that was to be expected. It's thought that the Amazons will appear in a flashback depicting them battling Darkseid and later being attacked when Steppenwolf invades Themyscira to retrieve one of the Mother Boxes.

It's unclear just how many changes Whedon has made to Justice League but there's nothing to say Cabanban will still be in the movie if he's reshot these scenes revolving around the Amazons! We'll have to wait and see but let us know your thoughts on this image in the comments section below.

'Justice League' Not In Turmoil, Reshoots Sticking To Zack Snyder's Plan

X

After Zack Snyder stepped away from his duties as the director of the Justice League after his family suffered huge tragedy, former Marvel Studios filmmaker Joss Whedon stepped in to take over.
Fans have wondered how the first film featuring DC Comics’ premiere superteam would be affected. Whedon, who previously signed on to direct the Batgirl movie, has his own sensibilities as a director that are wholly distinct from Snyder’s tactics. Would he be making an entirely different movie?
According to Forbes’ writer Mark Hughes, Whedon is still sticking to the plan laid out by Snyder.
On the Superhero News podcast, Hughes detailed what Whedon is overseeing on the shoot, debunking the rumor that they are filming an entirely different ending than what Snyder already shot.
“They haven’t said ‘oh, we need to add additional [photography] – we need to do a whole bunch more,’ or anything like that at this point, so, the footage and the amount of footage in the film, as of right now, the majority of the footage that you’re going to see on the screen is still the footage that was previously shot during principal photography.”

Slide 1/3'Reshoots' or 'Additional Photography'?

Hughes went on to talk about what is being added, and much like the Wonder Woman reshoots from Patty Jenkins they’re only adding footage to clarify or streamline or flesh out certain scenes.
He also spoke about the terminology and the differences between phrases like “reshoots” and “additional photography,” which carry meaningful connotations when it comes to productions of this magnitude.
“They are doing… it’s not an insignificant… amount, it’s mostly new footage, the reshoots – and some people insist the terminology doesn’t matter and that “reshoots” is common [sic], well no, the terminology does matter to people that make movies and know what these things are, and it matters if you’re saying something’s a “reshoot” when it’s not a reshoot – that matters,” Hughes said.
“But to the extent that that’s just a technicality, the shoots and reshoots combined that are happening and then the also pickups to fill some stuff in is not going to be the majority of the film and it’s not going to be some huge vast portion of the movie.”
So all of those reports of Justice League being unwatchable and Whedon doing a complete overhaul to “fix” the movie could be blown out of proportion.

Slide 2/3Enough Time?

But that might leave some wondering why it’s taking so long?
“As of right now, despite the fact that there’s been some extended time and it’s like ‘ok, if this is still – why are they still doing shoots on this,’ there’s been a lot of downtime in between shooting because of people’s schedules – they have not been shooting this entire time. The amount of content that has been shot and is being shot is still pretty much what they expected and figured was going to be happening,” Hughes said.
Fans should keep in mind that Justice League’s cast is filled out with in-demand actors. In fact, it’s kind of amazing that Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot have the most open schedules, but that could be due to their personal circumstances at this time.
But Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Henry Cavill are all busy shooting other movies.
It helps that Miller’s Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2 and Momoa’s Aquaman are both under the Warner Bros. banner, but Cavill’s primary gig at this point is shooting Mission: Impossible 6. They might have caught a break there with that production being temporarily shut down due to star Tom Cruise suffering an unfortunate injury, but the shoot is still at the mercy of the actors’ schedules.
“I know I’ve seen people worried and say ‘why is it taking so long,’ it’s because this is post – this is reshooting and filming that requires people’s schedules to line up, getting things in order, so it has not been as easy as they expected it to be when this was all being planned months ago,” Hughes said.

Slide 3/3Justice League

It sounds like Justice League isn’t the chaotic disaster some rumors would have you believe

JUSTICE LEAGUE Will Serve As A "Direct Sequel" To BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

We know that Justice League is going to touch on a number of plot threads introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but it now appears as if the movie will actually serve as a "direct sequel."

Superman's death in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is obviously going to play a major role in Justice League, as will a lot of what happened in that movie. However, a new report from Total Film points to the highly anticipated release being "a direct sequel" to the divisive 2016 release. Considering the fact it'll likely end the trilogy which began with Man of Steel, that does make sense.

In fact, it sounds like we could learn more about Clark Kent's resurrection sooner than we thought as the magazine goes on to claim that Justice League "begins with Henry Cavill’s Superman in the ground having sacrificed himself to Doomsday." That statement isn't the clearest but if the hero does return from the dead when we return to his grave, perhaps he'll be back in action with the team right away!
.
We'll just have to wait and see. This definitely leaves us with lots to think about, though, and it will be interesting to see how exactly Justice League starts. Come November 17th, all our questions will hopefully be answered! In the meantime, be sure to share your theories in the comments section.

Joss Whedon Receives Screenplay Credit on Justice League

Joss Whedon receives screenplay credit on Justice League

After various reports and rumors downplaying the severity of the Joss Whedon-helmed reshoots on Justice League, Warner Bros. has officially announced that The Avengers director will receive screenplay credit on the film along with the film’s original writer, Chris Terrio. Terrio and Zack Snyder still share the “Story By” credit for the film.

Whedon does not currently have a Producer or Executive Producer credit on the film, which potentially could change before the film arrives in theaters. He will not, however, receive an on-screen credit for stepping in to direct the reshoots of the film. Snyder previously departed the project following the tragic passing of his daughter, Autumn.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

JUSTICE LEAGUE Toy Image Might Finally Confirm The Inclusion Of Superman's Black Suit

It's long been rumored that The Man of Steel would be sporting a black suit when he returns to join the fight against Darkseid's forces in Justice League, and now we might just have some confirmation...

Fans have been speculating that The Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) would sport a black suit upon his return to the land of the living ever since Doomsday "killed" him in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and although we have had a few hints here and there since, this may finally confirm it.

As you can see, one of the action figures highlighted in the Mattel Justice League toy catalog below is a black-suited version of Superman. Of course, this is far from irrefutable proof that the fan-favorite outfit will show up in the film, but considering none of the other characters shown seem to be out of place (is the gold dude Vulko, perhaps?), it remains a decent possibility.

Do you guys think we'll see Supes rocking that black costume in Justice League? Sound off below.
