Blue mist is like the staple shisha for smoking hookah i have come to discover. People always compare this flavor or that favor to blue mist haha. I actually have been smoking that flavor since ~ 2007. Its good, but got old. I might pick up a fresh 250g tin soon, might bring back the old days of starting smoking hookah (started in 2005, junior year of HS)

Glad to see people enjoy hookah as much as I do. As soon as it gets warm I am going to organize a hookah event where everyone brings a tip (or buys one for a quarter from me) and everyone can set up their favorite flavor of shisha in their own hookah and people can walk around and try different flavors. I will try to coordinate it with a local company so they can come out and sell products on the spot. Venue is the first problem. I have no idea whether we could do something like in the front of outlaw or something like that... I would say May or June would be my target timing. I would welcome any help as always! The planning stages are coming along well though.

They sell diffused down stems and other goodies that make a hookah hit nicer. Also there are different style bowls, different materials for hoses, etc that change a hookah a lot.
I've come to like you. Not that it matters that someone on the internet thinks you're an interesting and we'll rounded smart dude... but I just thought I'd tell you that.

Basically, I love you.

It's sad that that actually means something to me. Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Let me know if you're ever in Lawrence, I would be down to grab a beer or some food sometime.

I wish I could figure out why my hookah doesn't hit just right. I have so much trouble with shisha burning or not getting hot enough. I swapped to coconara coals, and can't quite get them lit without an electric stove. ;(

yeah quick lights are gross, i'd rather have to go out of my way to use the coconaras, i just have heating issues with them. unless i can find quick lights that leave far less ash and less taste than the normal ones. I've tried every quick light that It's a dream sells, all are pretty similar in the ash/taste department.

I have a gas stove, and using fire to light a natural coal is the worst way. An electric burner is a MUST for using natural coals.

I'll have to look into this vortex bowl business.

Ya'll KC dwellers should make a hookah get together or something. I would definitely make the trip out there to smoke with some cool dudes... I'm always down to burn a bowl or two. I don't hookah as much as I would like to anymore.

I think I'm going to have to clean my hookah out and get some shisha soon; this thread has inspired me.

Hmm, I'll have to pick up a cheap electric burner and try. What is the difference, just burns cooler and more evenly?

The vortex bowl and a downstem diffuser changed the way my hookah smokes entirely. It smokes double thick for 1.5x the time. No joke, and it NEVER burns.

I actually was getting really bad headaches from the NON quick lights, so i switched back to the ignite quick lites and i think they are the best i have tried.

I will do some more research and see if i can organize a get-together.

I always had a problem with quick lights burning the fuck outta my shisha and getting really harsh really fast. I don't have this problem with the coconaras, but I have an issue lighting them and getting them to stay lit unless I use an electric burner.

I'll need to try a diffuser.

Maybe I was just using the wrong quick lights. Came in a big red box from it's a dream, but I tried several, including the triangle kind and everything.

tbh my biggest gripe is that after a night of Blue Mist my whole fucking living room smells like blue berries.
