Default Not your father's Mountain Ale

Hey Mountain Dew Fans, Thereís A New ďNot Your FatherísĒ Flavor And I Think Youíre Gonna Like It

Did anyone else grow up pounding Mountain Dews at middle school parties or drinking so many of them you threw up?
Now you probably throw up because you drink too much of other, more adult beverages.
Fortunately, those two sugar filled, alcoholic worlds have now collided into one beautiful, toxic looking neon green bottle.
The geniuses at Not Your Fatherís, who originally gained their claim to fame with an alcoholic root beer are responsible for this creation and we couldnít be more grateful.
Sorry awkward middle school kids doing weird shit in your parents basements, this one isnít for you (yet).
This release is fairly new to the market, but you can use this handy dandy tool to find the closest distributor to you.

The ~10%abv root beer they make is better than the 5% version.

This. I'd rather just mix hard alcohol with actual Mountain Dew

I didn't think it was too bad. I couldn't drink a six pack at once, but it was better than a lot of pop-tasting wannabes. Not the biggest MD fan either.

I agree, I've had that one and it's not terrible.

My problem with these is they have a funky sickly sweet taste and I can't drink more than 1 of them before it turns my belly sour and I get heartburn like a mother.

I personally prefer Coney Island as it doesn't have that sickly sweet lingering aftertaste for me...but it still will turn my belly sour after a couple so I just really avoid them altogether at this point.

IPA or Bourbon Aged barley/stout/quad/anything for life!

I want to try it but not worth buying a 6 pack
