I just realized I was confusing Mild for Billy Mild.

Mild, what car do you even have? Because I'm clueless.

Can't do that. I was one number off on each of them. 83 has the newer of the two.

How many times have you bought a new SVT product?

Zero.

I tried to buy a '99 Cobra and told them to get fucked on the markup. Walked straight out the door, walked over to Cable Dahmer and drove home a brand new LS1 Z28 that same day.

Ended up buying one a year and a half later with 3k miles and 8k less than what they were asking brand new.

Tried again in '00 on a Lightning. Same outcome. Walked over to Cable again and bought a brand new '00 SS Camaro.

2 years later I picked up the Lightning I still own with 16k miles on it for 21k.

Fuck em and their markup.

I actually think Ford did you a favor, especially on that junk 99 Cobro.

Man I'd still tell you today that was the best/favorite car I've ever owned.

The guy that put the 3k mile on it never got the fix they sent out for that car. Catback and engine retuning IIR. When I left the dealership they asked if I wanted to take the original catback with me.

My buddy worked at a muffler shop and we made a muffler-less catback with a side exit out of it that day. Took it straight to MC Racing and it threw down 307 to the wheels.

We also straight piped two of the four cats.

I put a nitrous kit and stickies on it and she was 400+ to the wheels way back in the day.

I miss her

Nope.

Unless you mean nitrous/fuel jet tuning

While I made less HP, I did make nearly 400 ft/lbs

Hey man, it was getting off topic.

JDLM has to run a tight ship, if he doesn't this place will really get out of hand with all 18 active posters.

I thought he just changed the title, didn't realize he separated the threads out.

Moderating is serious business.

The C4 ZR-1 still runs with cars up at speed. From a dead-stop it isn't that impressive, but it runs damn good up at speed. Or I should say she did. RIP.

Trackday mishap actually, dick.
