This.

E85 is maxing out my LPFP and causing me to run lean, which is making the ECU open the WG to dump boost which is bringing power down. So until I get a new LPFP I will be switching to race gas which will ease up the load on my LPFP by about 30%.

There's a pretty awesome kit I found that is a direct replacement for my in tank LPFP setup and uses a walbro 450. It flows 100% better than the oem pump and will allow me to run 100% E85.

ah duh. I missed the e85 part. Chuck sent me over the log to check out, so I know what you're talking about with what's going on. So I was thinking you were trying to go from 93 to 110, which obviously didn't make since.

Yeah that 4-5k in 3rd was pretty awesome huh? Lol

I was on about E45 there. Shitty winter E70 so my octane was pretty low. Guessing 98-99 overall.

Going to 110 should make it a lot happier and allow me to be on my custom map holding 20psi all the way out.

Let me get some bugs worked out and new tires then I'll be ready to run some people again.

He will still have me by at least 60-70hp (stock dyno numbers I found on interwebs) and only 900lbs more than me.

All I know is this summer is shaping up to be a lot of fun with how antsy people are to race already and how many events there are.

Here's some vids of the weekend.

I was corrected by the driver of the ws6 that it is a drag radial and skinnies setup not slicks.

That yellow camaro you raced, does it have a black roof and a 12 year old kid driving it. There is one running around Olathe with a black roof I need to destroy. But I think the one I'm talking about is like 430hp but he likes to lie about his car a lot lol.

There's some guy in Austin with an exhaust only Mach 1 that is running his mouth on a FB group, saying he keeps up with head/cam LS1's.

I want to go hurt his feelings on my stock cam, but not sure when I'll make it down to Austin again. If I get my stuff in sooner than later, I'll just have Derek advance the timing and up the idle a bit.

It's not like it's crazy that a cammed 5th gen is making 49x's at the tire.

That was just a quick Google. I'm sure there are more.

Traction plays a big part in the races that were had.
