Glad I didn't buy that new 5.0 that was getting unloaded at thoroughbred today. They must be dogs.

I don't think it's unrealistic that he can beat a bolt on 5.0 from a roll.

I think it's unrealistic to say "she's a monster from a roll," but hey, it's all relative I guess.

Of coarse when someone says bolt on's its anywhere from a intake/tune or every bolt on known to man rofl. Like bama saying there bolt on 2015 ran 11.2 and I was impressed till I saw:

Full Exhaust System
Intake
Few Minor Suspension Parts
Minor Weight Reduction
Slicks and Skinnies
Bama Performance 93 Track Tune

I just find it hard to believe that 289 hp even if it weighs 2400lbs being a roll monster with a turbo 350 and 3.90's But I guess anything is possible.

I know it's completely gutted but I'd like to see the scale sheet of it being only 2400. That's really light in terms of modern cars. My dad's purpose built drag car weighs that but does have a heavy ass dana.

I've never seen a e36 that only weighed 2400. Maybe without any drivetrain. That's a 3000 pound car with 289 whp.

So a 5.0 should be a what? 112-116 mph car in the quarter?

You put a whole car on one and "it's a monster from a roll?"

Dude, there are cars that trap well over that mph in the 1/8th mile on this forum and some of them barely make that comment. LOL

All relative I suppose.

What I've learned, if I cut 600lbs from my car I can drop 600rwhp from where I'm at and still be a monster from a roll.

Lol im going with numbers I saw posted and calculated from there someone posted a spot on data sheet of what everything weighs.doors have been cut out..car has no windows both power seats alone weigh 50lbs, roll cage probly adds a lil wieght but im sure its got some major weight reduction stock weight ist 3056lbs to be exact for a coupe so either way its in the 2xxxlbs range

you definitely dropped some weight, but you added a bit back with the cage (worth it). But going from 3100ish to 2400ish on a street driven car is quite the difference.

Qt off of 635 by the rail yard has a weigh station. Only accurate to 20lbs but its pretty close. Sometimes they make you pay iirc less than $20, sometimes they dont.
