.

I had my POS at fast fridays, good thing I had to park over by Hy-Vee so this way you would not scare my car in that honduh you got. I did however go to Target afterwards and it was a bunch of high school kids in a bunch of stock cars thinking they are fast. I was hoping I would see the Accord there but I didn't.

so youve got a stock accord that your parents use to use for getting groceries and once you learned to drive your parents let you use it. Neat. I remember when my mom let me drive her mini van for the first time when I was 14 too. I understand the excitement of getting behind the wheel for the first time, its really great and something we all can understand. however, seriously...if you think the accord is racecar status, well now youve just entered the world of Douche-baggery. youve seriously ruined any image you may produce, everyone here thinks your a tool and that wont ever change. So for that, congrats. also, as mentioned by lonnie and dave earlier on in here, Id be more than happy to run from a dig with you in either of my cars, caddy or Z. You choose. As of May 12th I will officially be back in town for quite some time and I look forward to spending time in KC and events, btw, hi everyone ha.
Nah my dad and I walked into Lee's Summit Honda and he wrote the check for the price of the car and I drove it off the lot. Neither parent has driven the accord once. However that really doesn't matter. He payed for it, I didn't, I would have no way of making enough money to buy a reliable car for college working at goodcents. I'm thankful for my situation and grateful my dad got me such a nice second car when I didn't ask or want anything near that nice. If you really think it's such a Shitty grandma car go test drive a v6 coupe. You WILL be shocked you're in a Honda.

Really? How is it that so many high school kids buy their first car with their after-school, minimum wage job. For those kids that car has to last until they enter into their career and they manage just fine.

You really have no idea how the world works...

Everything is relative. I work 25+ hours a pay period, take two community college classes and half day at high school. I pay for my gas and food, I make about $180 per paycheck and I mow two lawns for about $120 every two weeks. I spend all of my Good Cents money on gas and food. The other $120 is for savings or car parts. However that is all about to change this summer and Ill be making more money. However not enough to buy a 4k+ car on top of expenses.

Its how you act about the car that they got you that determines whether or not you're a stand up guy.

Yeah I totally understand people get by with much, much less than I do. I'm fortunate to be in this position and I realize that. I'm not that spoiled little kid that complained about car color when he received a new car. I'm obviously not some asshole kid or my parents wouldn't have gotten me a nice car. I wasn't expecting the new Accord in the slightest. The only conversation me and my dad had had about it was something like an 08 Accord or older for a second car. It was all circumstantial and I got lucky. I'm doing what I can now, I'm going to go to college and make it on my own. Through all the crap I put on here I really do have an incredible passion for cars and an itch for tinkering. I would love to build my own car with my own hands and pay for it all myself, but right now I have a lot on my plate.

Yet, you drive the piss out of it and use it to go "street racing" every chance you get.
Grateful huh? Pssht!
If you were really grateful, you would rarely take it past 4K RPM/ baby it and never use it to race people.

Yeah I'm just going to drive it at the speed limit and never have any fun. Did you forget I'm a teenager?

I would love to see you in my situation "baby it".

So you didn't complain about the color of the car, but you did straight up ask your parents for a project car a few months after they bought you a brand new car.

Wouldn't be that hard.....I mean is the BEAST power it has really that tempting?

Also, when you eventually get caught, how exactly do you expect to pay for a $1500+ contest racing ticket. You are lucky you didn't get one when you raced JW, if you even want to call that a race.
It's just a Honda Accord. Its not exactly a car people had posters of hanging on their bedroom wall growing up. Again stop acting like its a fast car and people might stop giving you a hard time.

What goodcents you work at? I got the R today and I'm ready to go. Won't be stock for long so come and get it while it's a race.

wow, so, by working 50 hour paychecks, at a bi-weekly pay, assuming thats what youre getting, thats about 3.60 an hour...what the hell do you do that pays you so low? Im pretty sure mcdonalds pays more and thats a normal teen high school job, youre exactly whats wrong with children these days, spoiled and ungrateful. everything is handed to you, youve got no sense of respect for anyone. Our future is royally effed up because of snobby little rich brats like you, your parents have failed you.

You just think you're going to have monies after college. Wait until you have bills, a mortgage, a woman, etc.

^^^ this....... In the words of the great E-40, " don't by an 80,000$ dollar car before you buy a house ", or in sleeper case a 10,000$ car before you buy a house.
