Or just change something with the Patriot?
what kind of coil do you have on the Patriot?

Okay, I dont know much about these but I want to get a starter kit. What would you recommend, and do you have to replace pieces on these often or are you guys just tinkering with them all the time?

I would start with an EVOD kit

Coils have to be replaced or rebuilt over time but not all the time, I recommend stopping by KC Vape Spot or Flatland and seeing Brandon or Eric and they will get you setup with everything and explain everything to ya.

Good to know, as I took a chance and bought one last night. As far as KC Vape goes I probably won't make it out there till July or August, because I live in the Wichita area. What website do you or anybody else use to order juice?

Please don't confuse KC VapeSpot with KC Vape or KC Vapes. They came out after our website was out and has caused some confusion. KC VapeSpot provide discounts to KCSR members. Just mention the forum for it.

The 0.25ohm build I have goes dry after two hits while the 0.45ohm build can go like 10 off the same amount of drops.

I like the Kayfun Lite Plus and the Aqua for flavor and convenience but they aren't the easiest to build on. The Kayfun is easier than the Aqua but I don't have problems with them I do have a lot of customers bring me their Kayfun's to build them coils.
I have a .14 dual coil build on the Patriot and a .15 single coil on igo w4 I was at my local vape shop and one of the guys had the new kayfun mini? I believe it was a mini but I really liked the flavor though it was at .8ohms

On the Patriot I just have 24 gauge wrapped 6 times around a 7/64 drill bit I believe and dual coiled. The igo w4 is a single coil of 24, 26, and 28 gauge ran in parallel wrapped 5 times.

Parallel coil will destroy juice, I dont have really any issues on my trident and foggy trident with just a dual micro-coil setup

are yours micros or standard coils?

I've thought about getting rid of my hookah for one, but after reading this thread it seems like a ton.

Mines are micro coils I believe. That's when I use tweezers to push them together right? If so then yes they're micro coils.

yep yep that would be micro coil

what ohms are you at on the dual coil build? the faster that coil heats up the more juice it will go through.

.14 ohms I noticed to that the coils got gunked up like really fast. I used a recipe online for the eliquid
Dragonfruit - 10%
Strawberry - 3%
Bavarian Cream - 2%
Sweet Cream - 1%
Vanilla Swirl - 3%
Ethyl Maltol - 1%

Anyone know how I can stop it from gunking as fast?

I usually just do 3 drops per 10mL of ethyl maltol. Sweetners tend to caramelize. Sucralose will caramelize more than EM will though. The only other thought I would have is the amount of flavoring total you have. 90% of the flavors I sell have less than 12% total flavoring with my highest percentage flavoring for one of my flavors is 16%. Be wary of online recipes, they don't always factor in steeping.

Deciding between the new Copper Vanilla Clone and Red Copper Stingray i'm pretty set on the Vanilla because i've heard people are having problems with their Stingray buttons. Now for next RDA it's between the Quasar and Stillare. From what i've been told it seems the Quasar is more for flavor and the Stillare more vapor. Anyone care to weigh in on this? I'm leaning towards the Copper Vanilla Clone and Stillare Clone as my next set up.

Had a few customers come in with their copper vanilla clones and they weren't that great. As for the copper stingrays it depends on the clone.
