Really enjoyed the Left Hand sampler I grabbed this weekend. I think Sawtooth and Stranger Ales are going to be ones I keep on hand from now on.

2012 hopslam.

anyone who argues this beer should be aged needs to be shot without trial.

I aged a Hopslam for a year a while back, just to see what would happen. It turned into an overly sweet, malty mess NOT a delicious barleywine. Hopslam is good up to 4-6mo. old, but not much longer than that.

i have had a lot of expired ipa's (mostly by accident), and hopslam is by far the most drinkable.

that being said, it seems like a waste of hopslam to cellar it for any given time. i kept a 6pk until May or so, but when I opened 1 I could tell it was getting stale, and drank the rest of it up pretty quickly

I have a case of 2012 hopslam. I would consider trading for non expired lol

I love my job. Tonight I'm drinkin' the Sam Adams Haze Brown. Absolutely delicious. If you have not tried it, I highly recommend it.

After a few bottle of Devils Cut, I decided to mix it up with a bottle of Jim Beam Black. Will update later with opinion.

Update: after finishing the first glass, it is extremely smooth. Being 43% alcohol it is surprising how smooth it is. There is a strong aroma of oak with under tones of maple. The oak flavor hits the palate immediately and finishes with a smooth subtle taste of maple. It is definitely a very enjoyable bourbon to drink straight at room temp.

Can't drink beer (celiac), but found out about Angry Orchard cider and haven't looked back.

Look into Woodchuck's seasonal stuff. I like it better than angry orchard or red's

Nope. Tarded. Hazel. Mah bad....spelling derp aside, it's wonderful.

Did enjoy a bottle of Boulevard's Coffee Ale last night though. Also excellent.

I saw Woodchuck's season pumpkin cider.....pretty sure that's going to be part of my next purchase.

Have had the Woodchuck Amber and Pear, wasn't a fan. I'll have to look into the seasonal stuff. I've been stoked to see Angry Orchard on tap at every bar I've been to yet!

Picked up some Tallgrass Velvet Rooster tonight. Pretty good, almost like a Tank 7.

Can't decide if I like this or the Schlafly Pumpkin better. Anyone have any better recommendations?

I got my Pumking from Lukas @135th. Shipyard has a decent pumpkin. I really want to get my hands on some Dogfishead Punkin ale, heard great things.

Just picked up a bottle of Southern Comfort 100. It is extremely smooth for being 100 proof. It is very tasty.

Still have a Saison in the fridge from a few months ago and just picked up 2 BBQ's. Didn't have time to enjoy quality beer tonight but Wednesday I'll be opening up a bottle and trying it out!

FWIW...Red's in a pint glass with a shot of fireball in it is a very good combo.
