With dinner: Hell or High Watermelon Ale. Not in anyway the best beer I have had, but most definitely a decently refreshing summer beer.

Picked some up while I was at Hy-Vee today. Was surprised that it is out already.

Pacifico with a wedge of lime this evening.

I'm a poor boy so noramlly the cheapest whiskey there is to buy, but currently some Jim Beam and Coke zero. Beer doesn't do anything for me anymore, I drink it when i'm trying to not be a drunk.

Top shelf drinks are pointless when you can get a handle for $15 and get smashed for at least 2 days.

It blends well with other beers too.

Find Southern Tier Creme Brulee Stout, or Breckenridge Vanilla Porter and mix the Schlafly Pumpkin 50/50 with either of those.

Enjoy

This is my favorite time of year.

I stock pile a shit load of fall and winter beers so that when spring/summer come around I don't have to drink all the pale lagers/ales that come out for those seasons.

Just picked up a bottle of Jim beam honey. IMO, I think it tastes better than JD Tennessee honey. Tonight will be a good night.

Drank my Schlafly pumpkin ale this week. That shit was fire.

Now working on some oatmeal stout by them and a pack of Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

Anyone have any IPA's they recomend? Been sampling a bunch of different varieties, and my favorite so far is Odell's IPA.

Deschutes chain breaker white I.p.a is a favorite of mine, not too hoppy, pretty smooth taste. Also their fresh squeezed is pretty good, has a bit of a citrusy taste.

Really like the new Boulevard mid-coast, bitter somebitch but its good! The pop up session was decent.

Mothers brewing Lil' helper is pretty good, too!

Am I the only one that isn't all woohoo about pumpkin beer? It's ok but I can only drink one of them and it has to be cold out, and Pumpkin Pie is the 5th food group for me. Just doesn't belong in my beer. lol.
